I realise I've posted this in the wrong forum. Apologies - could someone move it please? Thanks

I have to come up with my list yet for another forum. Some good stuff on there that I need to check out still. None of my 3 faves of the year appeared on your list. Surprised you have the Lorde album so high (though I do like it).

Oh I'm obsessed with the Lorde album and Lorde in general really. I can't think of an album that better manages to be simultaneously mainstream pop and leftfield arty. It's a triumph.

Interested to see what your 3 faves of the year are. I'm aware that there's a lot that's gone under my radar already like Phoebe Bridgers who I've only properly discovered since putting the list together.

I think St Vincent and Lorde are kind of in the same box, Lorde is probably a tad more commercial but I reach for the St Vincent album more.

My 3 fave albums of the year were from Desperate Journalist, Nadine Shah and Slowdive (though The National really is up there too. My favourite ep of the year was Retrograde by Ariana & the Rose. Fave gigs were Bananarama and Aimee Mann.
