Oh dear me no. Even PESTILENCE AND FAMINE could never be as bad as HER
CLF had some unintentionally funny moments and seems like a genuinely nice person
Eureka dresses like a novelty cushion and thinks PTSD is something you get after doing a wonky split
That was a good episode. It got better when the performances began and for a C-list judging panel that was actually where most of the laughs came from.
The Vixen BROUGHT IT and I predict she'll go quite far. Aquaria's runway look SLAYED whereas Cracker's was nice but also very Miz Cracker in her comfort zone. Kameron actually impressed me both in the challenge and on the runway, which I would not have called beforehand.
I find Asia O'Hara really quite hateful at this stage. She's confident and focused but there's a real lack of warmth or charm there.
Kalorie began stronger in the lip sync but on balance she lost it, and her runway look was just shit. I still felt pretty devastated for her, she seemed lovely.
I agree about a disconnect with Asia. I can see it's all there, yet I feel nothing for her and don't care.
Yes I was gonna say Kameron was way better in the performance than anyone (certainly on here) could have expected.
Actually there is a sense of generosity with Cucu whereas with Eureka it’s just a me me me whine-o-rama and a whole barrel full of tatty looks, with this week’s runway being particularly dismal
But her performances incorporate SPOKEN WORD clips of KATIE PRICE AND UK BIG BROTHER!!
I'll give a queen a lot of leeway if they seem like a genuinely good person, and Cynthia was by all accounts an angel, but dear God she was a disaster in Season 9. I remember wondering if she might still be a bit spaced out from all the chemo, because I didn't remember her being that bafflingly bad the first time round.
I have similar feelings about Eureka and her injury - she maybe needed another year or so to recuperate before she came back. But I suspect she would have made a huge production about her 'PTSD' regardless.
I was gonna do rank of the queens at this early stage, but it's SO HARD to fathom after two episodes...
Oh I KNOW! Simply INCREDIBLE!!!
And those stunning ROLY POLYS are clearly packing out the clubs TO CAPACITY and leaving HYSTERICAL FANS SCREAMING FOR ENCORE AFTER ENCORE!
Poor Cynthia's crowdfunding project only 16% funded with 3 days left
Dramatized though I agree it is, I do think there's probably a lot of insecurity and helplessness when you've prided yourself on dancing in the past and are in a performance based reality show but have just suffered a torn ACL or whatever it is.
I'm sure she'd have loved to have busted out high kicks and splits in that lip sync but as far as I know it's hard for athletes to recuperate properly from that kind of knee injury, let alone a 400 pound man.
I think I'd end up paying that much again to get her to HANG UP
It was only when I saw Eureka and Kalorie hug that I released how fucking MASSIVE she is
She’s TWENTY TON LUV
On the Miz Cracker front, it’s weird that she was touted as the hot new comedy queen because I’m not seeing it so far AT ALL. The runway looks are alright I suppose but she seems weirdly meek and passive
Also, ditch the fucking BOW TIE
Ooh a SET OF 3 PIN BUTTONS
Omg for $300 you have to sit through a meet and greet AND a phone call?
My brother's boyfriend actually got him a video message from Cynthia Lee for Valentine's day.
I'll be quite alarmed if it turns out he paid $200 for it.
I think I'm basing it off of her YouTube channel more than anything at this point.
I don't think she's a Jinkx or Bianca or Sharon yet but I do like her a lot.
I agree that Cracker's talking heads are all strangely low energy, but I quite like that - as long as she can bring it when the challenge calls for it.
Cracker was funny during judging last week. I look forward to her chance shine during a comedy task.
I like that the Cynthia phone call is specified as “personalised”
*insert name here*
I don't feel like this was ever going to be Cracker's week, and aside from the Aquaria/Vixen drama at the start she didn't really have a storyline. I'm giving her the benefit of the doubt until the herd thins a little more.
Besides, I prefer every queen getting some airtime to one dominating everything.
I want a REALLY IMPERSONAL PHONE CALL from SERENA CHACHA.
Exclusive footage of one of Cynthia’s personalised messages:
2. Miz Cracker
7. The Vixen
11. Vanjie (only cause we didn’t get enough)
13. Muscle queen
That's 14% more than Tyra got for her album
I’m not terribly sure what this project actually IS, although the prospect of hearing more of that “unique Raspy vibrato that is the most powerful instrument in any recording” is making me want to give at least 25p
1. Miz Cracker
2. The Vixen
3. Yuhua Hamasaki
4. Mayhem Miller
6. Miss Vaaaanjie
7. Blair St. Clair
8. Dusty Ray Bottoms
9. Monet X Change
10. Eureka O'Hara
11. Kameron Michaels
12. Monique Heart
13. Kalorie Karbdashian
14. Asia O'Hara
Fabulous episode! Surely the musical was the longest the show has had? You couldn’t miss any girl.
- I felt sorry for Eureka. I dislike her less on this season; yes, she’s annoying but she’s like a big baby, you can’t help feeling sorry for her.
- The guest judges’ critique was on the of the strongest (loved the comment about Monique’s runway reveal lacked a narritive!)
- Cameron was surprisingly good in the challenge. Still looks awful though.
- I don’t care what all of you might think; I want to fuck Aquaria out of drag so hard.
- Yuha has to be the first drag queen that looks more female out of drag than in drag.
- I dislike Calorie less now, but she had to leave.
- I’ve upgraded Dusty and no longer see her as the new Thorgy.
- The rivalry between Aquaria and Miz Cracker is shaping up to be stronger than the Alyssa/Coco and Adore/Laganja feuds.
All this and not a single word for Queen Alyssa? She was FABULOUS.
I just realized that I forgot writing about Alyssa! I mean she was so good I wanted to dive into the screen to hug her. What a queen!
Well as long as it shuts her up and stops her doing that jerky head thing
Alyssa was the absolute episode highlight. More All Stars popping in from now on please
I’m with @RaspberrySwirl on the upgrading of Dusty Bin, who I thought looked really good on the runway. Getting rid of the spots was sensible. Less keen on Boy Dusty with his silly hair and face but apparently you can’t have everything
Boy Dusty looks like the kid (he’s no longer a kid) from Modern Family.
Alyssa was incredible. Absolute standout.
I enjoyed Eureka trying to call PTSD for a DODGY KNEE. Absolute lunacy.
I like Asia (I quite fancy her out of drag) and I found myself wishing Vanjie had stayed after all the talk of her exit at the start.
