Morning all! I’m off the nicotine patches as of today. I’ve quarantined myself at home today in case I become a complete cunt.

Perhaps you could list some warning signs, so we may recognise the difference?

Good morning! I can’t decide if I should go for a swim or stay indoors and feel bad about not going.

I see the Daily Express is leading with how OPTIMISTIC us Brits all are at the moment, and how we're gagging to pay HIGHER TAXES for a BRIGHTER FUTURE!

I am very much of the mindset that I enjoy it too much to give up. I shall live and let live.

The nurse told me last time I saw her that there was no point her mithering me about giving up because it only works if you really want to give up. I can't imagine how much of a nightmare I'd be without nicotine right now. My sister hasn't spoken to me for over a month after I told it like it was and she didn't like it, and that was just because I was tired and cranky. Last time I gave up smoking (unsucessfully obviously) I threatened to kill somebody and would have tried if he hadn't been removed from my vicinity. It might have been a side effect of the Zyban or maybe I'm just vile without fags. :D

You just keep doing you Floppet. We can’t have you doing a life stretch unless they allow you Moopy access inside.

My dad has just sent me a pack of face masks, unprompted, for my holiday to Brazil.

Even though there hasn’t been a single case yet on the entire CONTINENT.

I had a night on the booze yesterday. It had been a long time and ooh my alcohol tolerance is not what it was.

If anything my smoking has increased of late, I honestly can’t be arsed with the hassle of giving up. I did try a vape for a while, but I knocked it on the head on account of it being shit and useless.

My campus is full of young Chinese in face masks. Many wear them ANYWAY unprompted prior to this, even though the campus is in a PARK, which is a far cry from the industrial filth of Chinese cities.

    Force of habit I presume.

I was pretty-much bladdered on two snowballs over Christmas. Twenty-year-old me with her bottle of cheap vodka and four cans of Speccy Brew was spinning in her grave. On the upside there was no hangover the next morning, how about you?

third week home alone, I'm pretty much been a vegetable and ignored all household chores and body maintenance so today I made a pact with myself to go for a long wholesome walk. I finished it off with smørrebrød and snaps :disco:

now I feel like sleeping for five hours...

Being alone is underrated, but three weeks is too much.

Has anyone had any storms yet? It’s been sunny with a slight breeze here. Ciara (my dog) is lying outside awaiting STORM CIARA.

I won’t know till TUESDAY now. Although apparently they aren't handing out the blue ones until they’ve run out the stock of red ones, which won’t be for another 18 months.

It's been a glorious morning here, I didn't even wear my coat to walk the dog. It's now clouded over a bit and there's a bit of a breeze but I've already done the poo-stick adventure in the back garden and emptied the recycling boxes because our local rag is touting Storm Ciara as being a doozy so at least I can batten down the hatches tomorrow and not go anywhere if it gets hellish.

Yup, no hangover. Felt a bit "full" if that make sense - bloated, even but that's worn off.

It’s now pissing down and blowing a hoolie, and I am cooking up my own little storm in the kitchen.
