I've got a bit on the nocturnal side already...that's in a week....just got up. Mind you, I got up at 9 for a wee, took my pills and thought "NAH".
I reckon I could get to fully nocturnal in 3 nights. So why does it take about 10 to get back to being diurnal?
I’m in the middle of a ridiculously snowy winter wonderland at a cottage (actual, not public toilet) in Oxfordshire. Can’t move the car or anything. It’s quite good fun.
I read a thing a few years back that the natural body clock is 25 hours...people who don't experience night and day tend to drop into a cycle that's just that bit longer than a day - it was probably tested on prisoners or something and was totally unethical but it maybe explains why it's so easily done in winter where there's a relative lack of daylight and, being on annual leave, I don;t have my standard routine to keep me on track.

Good Afternoon darlings. I have been out shopping, and went for lunch with my bambino’s. Home now to have an afternoon of Netflix, munchies and some more family time.
Went climbing this morning after 2 days on the bounce in the gym. Not done any form of exercise for a couple of months and now crippled. Send help/nudes.

I've spent much of the day salvaging tracks from old CDRs. A few associates have been complaining of finding the odd one or two unreadable so I figured I'd better back-up the back-ups. Found an unreleased album by one of my bands and felt a bit sad for a while.
Over it now, back to listening to other people's music again.
