That's very manageable, just keep going. A drinking buddy of mine could go through half a pack in the 2 hours we sat down for.

This is me to a T.

I would like to smoke less (only because of money and wanting to have good skin) but I don't feel it's an urgent priority.

Weirdly though since buying a pack of menthols in Spain I can now smoke nothing else. I was gifted a regular pack recently and it was fucking gross. So when menthols are inevitably banned (soon) maybe I'll just have to quit.

Menthol tastes okay, but there just isn't that strength in them for me.

Do menthols taste anything like burnt mint chocolate?

When I was a young homosexual back in the days you could smoke in pubs and clubs, I quite enjoyed a mentholated cigarillo. Or a Sobranie cocktail :disco:

Wasn't being able to match your cigarette to your blouse an utter joy?

In 1996, at the tender age of twenty, I remember smoking an elegant cigarillo while drinking a vodka cocktail on an Aeroflot flight to Moscow.

Aroflot was the last airline to ban onboard smoking.

Why oh why do they not still do cheeky 10s? I’m trying not to smoke (again) and I don’t want 20. I know there’d probably not be enough room to include a whole diseased lung on a packet of ten, but they could surely squeeze in a tiny stump or one of those lovely fag ash foetuses :disco:

:D Oh I love that one as well! I always find myself hoping for particular pictures, only to get one of some cancerous lump or another. Bravo on staying off them, by the way. They don’t exactly add to life. I was on the rollies last week and I must say that the stench of the (outdoors) smoking area at Victoria Station was suddenly appalling. Unless it was a particularly malodorous vagrant. Or me

I've started quitting again. Only today. I was successful for 2 years prior to my return to the fags, so I hope I can do it again. I read a report saying that the majority of those who still smoke are basically the UNDERCLASS and that piece of class snobbery was all the trigger I needed to buy a new vape.

Whilst I applaud your efforts, you were triggered by class snobbery and then went and bought a VAPE? :D

Well vaping helps me to quit! I was triggered by not wanting to be considered underclass!

I tell you what, this time round has been MUCH EASIER. I have a much better vape and I'm several days into no cravings at all really.

The main thing I've noticed, is my hair. It had become rather THIN and LIMP in recent years, but not even two weeks into giving up and it's some much THICKER and LOVELY.

    So that's nice.

I really wanna vape again but god the negative agenda you find online is astonishing and more frightening that smoking actual fags. Who did they piss off?

Well it's new innit. It can surely only be less bad than tobacco.
