A bit risky with Labour polling at 23% and the public haven't really got to know Corbyn the man yet. LIB DEM REVIVAL!
I may complain but ANYTHING to bring an end the Fixed Parliament Act, which I hate. I like chaotic nature of the timeline of UK elections.
Seriously, is it a bad thing? I mean The Conservatives will win, but it's clearly the only way Corbyn's fucking off anytime soon. Let's just get it over with.
I hope it BACKFIRES quite SPECTACULARLY. I can't imagine there is ANY appetite for another election in the country as a whole
If - IF - the Conservatives get voted out and replaced by another party how would this affect Brexit? Would it still go ahead?
ALL of my University exams have been to the background of General Elections and Referendums. Not fair.
Now I'm annoyed all over again that Corbyn doesn't even have a coherent position on Brexit. What a useless cunt. I might vote GREEN
It would be SPECTACULAR if it backfired, but let's face it, it's a MASSIVE foregone conclusion that it won't. It's very clever- they can use the "Teresa is unelected, we owe it to the British public..." line and they have fuck all opposition and extend their time in government despite their dreadful record. Astonishingly clever, if obvious, in fact...
Unfortunately, we also all know who benefits the most from a politics- and election-fatigue. General elections in Germany, France and the UK within 4 months of each other. Crikey.
It is literally the only thing that could remotely give Labour a chance- a "We will rescind Article 50" policy. He won't, though...
Me too. I promised I wouldn't ever again after those turncoats went into the coalition, but needs must at the moment, and Labour do fuck all in my constituency anyway...
I expect a low turnout and a huge Tory majority (presumably they'll soak up loads of UKIP support from 2015). The prospect of finally sticking a fork in Corbyn is very appealing, at least.
Absolutely. Politically they've played it wonderfully. Just a shame they've managed to fuck the country up alongside that...
It's the one advantage, I guess, getting rid of Corbyn, but the thought of another 5 years of totalitarian Tory Teresa absolutely devastates me...
It's a different politics post Brexit and it's Lib Dems to comeback time. This could be a flawed part of the Tory plan if the Lib Dem revival happens in any major way. I anticipate a series of mini by election style votes.
Yes, I really hope people can get over the Lib Dem coalition thing. They have to. Hopefully we've had enough of the unfettered Tories now to make them realise.
There's no way those northern UKIP votes are going back to Labour though, especially since Terri went full-on KICK EM OUT.
