Babes, I've always KNOWN.
Yep, from what I have seen, Mel C is on fire
She was amazing . I must say Mel B and her new face look the best though. To be fair they all do.
Geri trying to keep up is still a highlight.
To me Jennifer Saunders summed her up in the comic relief Video when she got her looking around at the others and the props while trying to manoeuvre to a t .
When you are iconic, you don't need to manoeuvre
Ask Madame X when she did Eurovision.
I see the Greatest Hits re entered the chart at #24 last week. It’s #4 on iTunes RIGHT NOW.
Spice UP (the charts)
but they are SO CONFUSING these days
Are radio playing them as well? What about streams? Who's our exclusive streaming insider in Moopy? @Jark @Halli @VoR
Wannabe is 190 on Spotify UK's top 200 right ahead of xanny by Billie Eilish - relevance confirmed!
IS WANNABE 8 TIMES PLATINUM ALREADY?
I know Wannabe remains their defining hit but it surprises me just how many way streams it has on Spotify compared to all the others
Am I the only one who still loves Who Do You Think You Are? Not near as overplayed as Wannabe, and just as fun.
If anything I’d say it’s MORE overplayed. I can’t stand it these days.
WDYTYA has always been their family disco/predictable DJ cut over anything else, I’d say.
I NEVER hear it unless it plays on my Spotify. I hear Wannabe most regular out of any of their songs.
Good to see they are striking while the iron is hot with the Walkers advert. Squeeze every last $$$ out of that cash cow girls.
well if they had any CLUE then they would seal the deal with Netflix or any other streaming service and properly film one of the remaining nights but
Yes, it does seem a tad silly. Do any of you know why they wouldn’t want to film a show?
I thought Stop was the one hen parties would lap up over WDYTYA
Even BETTER I’d say!
No wonder you voted Brexit
Whenever there’s a 90s party, or 90s music played, it’s almost ALWAYS Wannabe. Maybe Stop. But that’s pretty much it.
The Walkers advert is quite decent I think, mildly amusing.
Not as good as the TESCO 2007 one, but then, WHAT IS
MENLY C IN RED GIRL BANKRUPT NON-SHOCK
bunch of bullshit surely
Well who'd have GUESSED!
Well there’s ONE way to find out
(Now not so) POOR MEL
That’ll teach her to have her silly silly BOUTIQUE PROJECTS
Although then again maybe it won’t
To be fair, it's only 50k down on the previous year
The Companies House website turns out to be quite good for poking around and seeing how much money people are making OR NOT AS THE CASE MAY BE
The Pet Shop Boys Partnership Ltd. doesn’t appear to be doing TERRIBLY well for starters
If bankruptcy keeps her high kicking to Say You’ll Be There, then bankruptcy suits her well
Ten million per girl is an AWFUL LOT of money for this bunch. I wonder if Mel Beh and Geru will invest in some pet projects as well just to be left with 50 pence in their pockets.
oh well there's always SpiceWorld (UK TOUR) 2031 girls!
Thing is, if you do a directors’ search, her touring company is separate (cleverly!) and appears to be doing ok enough...
Tomorrow night loves
I am in a bit of a quandary about tomorrow. I won’t be drinking anyway, so was thinking of driving. The main problem is STAIRS.
This is one of the most common accounting tricks in the business - Radiohead set up a new company for everything; each album, each tour has its own company. Therefore, if one thing does badly, that company can go bankrupt and not take the whole ship down with it.
ANYTHING to avoid Kala and his ‘champagne’!
