WHY do they say "seldom praise Him for the seven days" instead of "...sunny days"? Either they're taking LIBERTIES with Left Eye's words or they mis-heard. Either way, :manson:

And I hate the production - the 17Y.O. original sounds MUCH FRESHER

I like it - it's a good version. And this topic should be moved out of the toilet now they've had a bone fide smash.

    it's fucking DIABOLICAL

    clearly nothing is SACRED anymore

It's not outrageously bad but it just sounds so anaemic.

Their next single's a cover of Wannabe 'but with our own twist on it', I hear.

What the fuck? The backing track sounds like one of those cheesy karaoke instrumentals you find on youtube. I didn't expect much, but considering the original is pretty close to perfect, it's a shame this is so rubbish.

I don't mind this actually, it's better than I thought it would be, I quite like the middle 8, though they definitely DO sing SEVEN days. The only thing is it sounds so UPLIFTING and goes against the lyrics of the song. It actually reminds me of Des'ree's Life! I still think it's a bit of an unnecessary cover version though...

Apparently, T-Boz and Chilli are going to be in the video.

Atomic Kitten - Eternal Flame vs. Stooshe - Waterfalls VACUOUS COVER-VERSION SURVIVOR with guest appearance from noted 00s girl-group FIERCE and their smash-hit 'Sweet Love 2K' - sponsored by Y2K Zippers.

Why would you follow up a bonafide hit with a beyond-lazy cover unless there's nothing else to offer? They're pretty much writing their will by doing this.

clearly you need to appreciate the :black: to get why this is a PILE OF WANK

I hope the original re-enters the charts and OUTSELLS THEM

Is there really anything wrong with introducing a great song to a new audience who probably wouldn't ever be exposed to it otherwise?

Sounds like TLC are on board anyway. I like it.

it's a classic that shouldn't be touched, and if it's by a shit group with no talent, and if the cover itself is horrendously bad, yes yes and yes

The problem is they bring nothing new to the song. In fact, they take something away from it. I'm not averse to covers per se, but this one is just weak.

The only explanation for that interview is that T-BoZ is either STONED, HIGH or on some SERIOUS TRANQUILIZER/BOOZE COMBINATION

    Either way, it's a SHITSTORM

Having said that, Mo"'Nique" really does need (metaphorical) SHOOTING either way

I know T-Boz and Chilli are desperate, but are they really SO desperate that they'll appear in a video by a third-tier, potentially one-hit-wonder UK girlband?

To be honest, after they did that reality show to find a replacement for their dead third member, there's pretty much no rock bottom left to hit.

They are in the video, so I don't get why it isn't the remains of TLC rejigging and re-releasing this, rather than Stooshe.

I'm watching with no sound, but I see the cameo not as a handing over the torch moment, but a "nah, let's not bother going up to these bitches" moment of superiority.

I do think TLC should not replace Left Eye, but instead pick a different female rapper for each track: Missy, Foxy, Eve, Lil Kim, Charli Baltimore, etc.

I'm going to suggest a nu name to you COB. A guy was raving about some unsigned rapper with what I think was called "mix tapes" and I was trying to remember to run their name by you. I'll get back to you on it.

Chilli is still a stone cold stunner I see. This version is growing on me, but still not a patch on the original. I wanted T-Boz to join in and show 'em how it's done :(
