That video is FINE considering it must have had a budget of about 50p.
My favourite bit is Lisa being filmed against her garden fence :)

Some songs just don't need a dance routine, even if they're by Steps

A couple of Lisa's scenes are clear references to her iconic moments of the past: the devil horns (Race For Life), the fan (the time she waved a fan)

I like the concept of a retrospective video, but I don't really get why they didn't use old footage - or at least not just show shots of them looking at stuff we can't see.

Also, the Deeper Shade Of Blue and Love's Got A Hold On My Heart dance bits go with the chorus much better than the ACTUAL dance, which looks like one of TINA BARRETT's hot choreo pieces.

Kind of a lovely video, I think it's a good concept for this era. BUT it's really bizarre in the context of the song. Whoever did the concept didn't think for a moment about the lyrics.

Ah let's remember the story of Steps, nostalgia, fun, lol those outfits BY THE WAY I WILL REMEMBER THIS SADNESS FOR MY WHOLE LIFE LIKE A SHADOW IN MY HEART. For all her failings, LSL seemed like the only one who got what a tragedy (pun not intended) this song is supposed to be!

Without the photo book and memory box it could've been ok as a walk down sad memory lane in a vaguely One for Sorrow-esque locale, and that reunion patio scene at the end

I do like that Lisa got the emotional gut-punch line though, as if it was actually her not forgiving H & Claire. It should've been her singing direct to camera, with H&C having fun out of focus over her shoulder.

And then you realise she's got a GUN :o

2:33 when Lisa clearly hasn't been told "ACTION" is the best bit :D

Although 3:09 when she doesn't get the joke comes CLOSE :disco:

Totally going out to buy an HP Sprockett now, though. Why didn't they do a Steps branded one?

I think it fits the song perfectly - they look so withered and mournful, just like the production values. Poor Lisa - even when she's succeeding she has a tragic air around her.

I bet Björn and Benny have got a version of this sung by Ag and Frid in their notorious vault. It's the enormous ABBA comeback single that never was.

p.s. I'm glad they never did do a comeback. Their legacy is just perfect as it is.

:D! at Claire leafing through '20 Years Of Steps' at the beginning with that cushion to her left which someone's quite obviously used to wipe their bottom

It DOES look slightly dodgy but I daresay it's an animal print, in this case a COW that some unkind prop master has sneaked in to remind Claire of her HEIFER past.

They were on something this morning performing as a 4 piece because H was ill.

    Literally the dream line up.

Just watched the dream team from this morning on catch up. They did It's The Way You Make Me Feel as well so Lee got to sing H's bits. Lisa seemed a little less frazzled than previously on her Story solo part.

H is apparently a close personal friend of Alex Jones. So there you go.

Maybe they really like Tori Amos and can't spell. Or maybe it's a drag name.

I think Tory Manifesto is a better drag name though
