Who sings the song that Lauren and Ajay danced to please?
Apparently... You Are The Reason by Calum Scott and Leona Lewis.
Shirley is friends with Kevin's parents (who are also dancers) and apparently has seen Kevin grow up and become a dancer Maybe it's Giovanni she has a problem with. He was a bit curt with her when she was going on about 'dynamics'.
I usually like Shirley but her voting tonight really didn’t make much sense. I thought she only had the ‘8’ paddle at one point. She gave 3 or 4 in a row to dances of hugely varying quality.
yes, I love Shirley but she was bloody ODD tonight
Shirley’s marking has always been the worst thing about her
I love Shirley tho
she's like a TALANTAD Dame Lizzie Cundy who we ALL LOVE
The manic laughing anytime Bruno acts up is a bit
Shirley's dressing room (featuring hot chicken in a bag) Instagram videos are compulsively awful viewing.
Her DEMENTED scream of it's a bit CHICKEEEEEEN really is something else. What is she ON? Can I have some?
I hope Graeme goes. No matter what he does I find him rather boring.
The only good thing about Graeme is Oti.
Even with Danny's obvious dance off mistake he still looked better than Graeme to me.
Kate must have a decent public vote, she's been in an at risk spot a number of times now and avoided the dance off.
I've got it on Sky+ and won't watch it until later, but what's this about Danny choosing to skip being interviewed on It Takes Two?
It Takes Two was quite juicy tonight. Danny didn't show for his exit interview with Amy, and Zoe pointedly said he decided not to appear rather than excuse him with other commitments.
Katya did Choreography Corner so presumably is still in the good books. Giovanni was really NOT HAPPY with Shirley's suggestion that Faye was not fighting for her place as much as the other contestants. Still, she has a Paso this week which nicely plays into the fighting back narrative.
As Nicki French once sung, there ain’t no smoke without fire.
I thought it was interesting that they were forced to issue a denial so quickly rather than just waiting to see if it blowed over at the end of last week. This is only going to make think people think it was all true, particularly if Zoe and Amy didn't even try to excuse him.
Although perhaps it's just a big queeny strop.
Just watching It Takes Two now. Difficult to care much about Amy, but what a cunt Danny was to not appear and taint her farewell.
How Shirley can justify scoring Graeme the same as Faye is beyond me.
What a lovely surprise to see Gloria Estefan open Strictly.
Gloria looked a bit lost to begin with, fighting her way through the swarm of dancers.
I just FLICKED THIS ON MOMENTARILY by ACCIDENT and I would never have guessed that was OUR GLO
What have the hair department done to poor Oti this week? That wig...
Faye is EPIC.
Faye was great, and that was definitely a case of the extra dancers working for the celeb and enhancing the performance rather than making them look worse by comparison or just getting in the way.
Oh and Shirley played nice this week.
Charles is so
Ashley was incredible. So good on her own I wish there wasn't all that chip shop frippery. It was just a bit predictable that she was going to get that 40 and leapfrog the three on 38 though. Hopefully those tied spots on the leaderboard won't end up putting anyone good in danger.
I've voted for Faye and Charles because I want that YOUTUBE INFLUENCER off my TV screen as soon as possible. Talk about PERSONALITY VACUUM.
Some of the stuff that Ashley pulls off is frankly The bit where they removed the tablecloth from under her feet while she was FLY-KICKING on the table was something else.
Stacey’s routine was overload.
Who HASN’T mentally descended from the ceiling riding a stick of rock to the opening strains of Gina G.
Oh yes I loved that tablecloth bit!
The influencer is in it for the long haul. Pretty much feels like a finalist already, whatever he does. Tonight was the first time I thought he really deserved some of the praise he received.
I voted three times for Faye, as I do every week.
Well, this was delightful
I know Ashley was technically better but Stacey and Kevin’s dance was way more fun to watch
Take That really are all kinds of awful now.
That was the first time I had heard that new single. I was not impressed with the song or presentation. Mark Owen looked like he needed a good scrub.
Stacey Dooley was absolutely glorious this week. The live arrangement of that Gina G song was so good.
I don't like the look of the dress they've put Faye in tonight. I'm not sure I like a Waltz for her at this stage as far as the vote goes.
Graeme with one of those messy madly running around the floor Quicksteps. Time for him to go this week surely.
The more I see him the more irritating Neil Jones becomes. I can't believe It Takes Two went back to that Neil De Johnse demo skit from hell again.
