Only 4 years later but anyhow, was there a radio remix done for this or was the album version the one they released?

Oh really? I haven't listened to it in AGES but I remember it not working for me AT ALL.

The album version however certainly is one of my favourite songs of 2003.

God knows what they were thinking when they followed it up with 'In The Middle'. 'Million Different Ways' and 'Whatever Makes You Happy' are MISSED opportunities.

    Poor Ra :(

I don't mind it but it was criminal to ignore the two songs I mentioned before. :(

Oooh Moonbaby if you could upload the "Love actually" version that'd be ace, thanks!!

I have to agree with apoca, "Whatever makes you happy" was SCREAMING for a single release, it's miles better than "In the middle"

I do like this, it's probably in my Sugababes top 3, by far their best ballad.

I also agree that the singles from 'Three' could have been better selected.

Yes please to those singles. :D

They aren't that good at picking final singles are they? Shape was a rubbish choice, Caught In A Moment was nice enoguh but hardly single worthy, and why was Follow Me Home even on the album over Like The Weather anyway. Just my opinon of course, I'm pretty certain I'm in the minority that loved Soul Sound. :shy:

I had a video concept for 'Whatever Makes You Happy' and everything!

It involved lots of Sugababes clones and a lesbian kiss.

    No, seriously it was great!

There were gonna be loads of different clones of the girls doing different things, like walking down catwalks, but the photographers would be Sugababes clones as well. Then for that bridge bit where it all slows down "Cos it's about the music, not the face..." there'd be two Heidi's facing each other then they'd snog.

Well it looks great in my head. :(

we were recently quarrelling with a mate which song is better "too lost in you" or "caught in a moment"
my vote went for the LATTER

i hated "in the middle" initially, nowadays i like its freshness
ironically i find underwhelming performance of songs by my favourite acts usually helps thier songs :D

It was all about 'Situation's Heavy' - FAR better than 'Whatever Makes You Happy'

I recall seeing a video version of it with a KEY CHANGE at the end. It made me DIE with excitement... it was completely random and out of the blue and QUITE INCREDIBLE. But I've also seen the video without the key change too... :(

    The key change worked IMMENSELY.

I always preferred the Patricia Kaas 'original' myself

Been having a bit of a MOMENT to this song all day, surprised it's not held in higher regard here, it's absolutely SUBLIME.

I'm more of a 'Follow Me Home' kinda guy but I do like a good Sugaballad. Their uptempos aren't so great generally.

Ugly and Change were shit. I haven't EVER heard Catfights and Spotlights, are there actually any decent ballads on it?

Yeah, "Can We Call A Truce" is lovely. I also have a soft spot for "No More You" from their last album.

Always thought this was overrated by the Sugababes loons. I think Stronger is much better.
