#1 would be incredible but #2 is in keeping with their album chart peaks.

    #2, #1, #4, #1, #1, #2 is more than anyone would have expected from 5,6,7,8.

:( That annoys me so much. I'd rather he beat them on both, as now it feels like they've been robbed because the braindead masses left the top 40 playing with all his album tracks.

Yeah. It's pretty gutting to be honest. 28 on steaming isn't bad though really

They still have the headline of TOP SELLING album. I'd rather them have that then be denied both.

It's still #7 on iTunes (#3 excluding compilations) so I hope it doesn't collapse next week.

#4 in midweeks. Still #4 artist album on iTunes so should stay top 5 which is great.

#12 for the Ultimate Collection. Does anyone know if it's perhaps been re-issued? As it isn't high at all on iTunes, and there was like 1 in HMV the other day so I'm guessing perhaps Sainsburys or the like have got it re-stocked at their big megastores (similar to Robbie last year with his GH when the new album dropped)?

Either way, brilliant result for it as well.

    8,200 so far this week.

Really rather good. I thought it might collapse 75-80% and end up with 9k for the week, but it's looking like it should at least do 11-12k which is not bad for a fanbase act.

9,600 now - look fine for #4. Still selling 1,400 a day on week days is rather good, should end them around 12k+ for the week and hopefully another 7-8k next week and a third week top ten.

Good that is holding up and they are avoiding a plummeting down the charts situation. I these it also bodes well for what a bit of promo for the second single may do for the album.

    #2 - #4. Great second week.

Ultimate Collection #17 - #14. Brilliant result as well.

iTunes they've sunk a bit (though still top 20 after compilations). Will see over the weekend as new release slip as to where they are looking for next week. I imagine as sales get lower lots of streaming albums will get above them so around #10 - #15 next week.

Holding up so well in the second week is possibly more impressive than their first

Back up from #40 and #19 on iTunes since yesterday.

I think the only promo was a radio two interview yesterday.

Bodes well for when they actually do promo for Story of a Heart - they may just have a nice little chart run with this given how it's going.

    Fell a bit from midweeks.

    #2-#4-#12

Not too bad though, hopefully remain around #20 this week. Ultimate Collection still in at #25.

Not bad at all for one that is getting next to no streams. Should have passed 60k this week so be certified silver.

Ultimate still in at #28. It'll have passed 250k this week.

That is a much better run than I would have thought and hopefully won't freefall now with the next singles airplay beginning to really kick in now

And yep - BPI just tweeted it's certified silver.

With the single, a few more performances, the tour and Xmas period I'd say they should go Gold which is really what I was after - 100k in 2017 is pretty great for them.

Presumably The Ultimate Collection also has a chance of inching past Platinum now too?

Story of a Heart back in iTunes at #150. Radio 2 airplay should help it back up as they are record of the week.

A video would be nice shortly followed by a performance or two.

Ultimate Collection still top 40 at #36.

Story of a Heart now #93 on iTunes.

All going nicely but we will need a video and another week of UK promo (1 performance and a chat show or two would be fine) to stabilise the album a bit. Though I guess they know promo and 'events' (eg. a video) is limited so they are doing it slowly which makes sense.

#31 in mids, Ultimate Collection at #39. Holding well.

Deeper Shade of Blue has also been certified silver which is a nice bonus.

I've always objected to CDs being sold in supermarkets just up from the tampons and Chum but I rather suspect that it's been a saving grace in this instance

Still doing okay. A bit of promo though wouldn't hurt - a cheap video or a quick performance and morning TV chat would give it a little boost.

Doesn't appear to be. A bit of a wasted opportunity really. It's #31 on airplay and will get 5-6 weeks A List at radio two, even just a cheap vid would get them some extra play on the telly etc. It all helps to sell the album.

They may be waiting for a third single to do another promo push? It is still 5 months until the tour so perhaps they will drop a third one to radio in July/August and do some proper promo before rehearsals start.

I've heard the song quite frequently on the radio - more than Scared Of The Dark for sure.

This is probably their only opportunity with the album to score a crosssover hit. They'd be fools to waste it and given how brilliant the promo has been thus far, I can't see them not capitalising on it.

I would've thought that, but it's been A list for 3 weeks now (and the remix EP dropped a month back) and they haven't even started filming a video or announced any UK appearances...

It seems like there is no promo - or if there is, it'll be after the track is off radio rotation.

It just seems mad that they'd drop the ball on this. It's been evident since the start that this was their opportunity to play the ABBA card and score some credibility points.

It was track of the week on Radio 2 last week, wasn't it? Surely if there was going to be a push, they would have coordinated it with that. Perhaps there never was a plan for anything else.

It's seeming that way which just seems so strange.

Scared of the Dark was so well handled - from premiere, to radio rotation, to a video, to three performances and the album release. It resulted in it selling consistently for 10 weeks and gave the album a rather large debut.

I get that goal has been achieved but given they are funding this themselves (I believe on their own Steps label?), they are so passionate about being back and that radio two are giving them such huge exposure, it seems very odd to push this one aside - as said this is the one attached to the Abba name. It was never going to be a massive single hit but the album could easily be stable top 20 if they were actively doing something.

Are Loose Women fully booked with Nadia hair loss segments or something? I want another dance routine.
