I wasn't so keen on the films when I first saw them, but this was just on TV and it's actually very funny. Christina Ricci is so fantastic in this, it's a shame she and Anjelica Huston had hardly any scenes together.

I'll need to watch these in anticipation for Angelica's new small-screen series that looks a bit like Burlesque and how I imagine Showgirls to be.

Oh I was going to make a thread on this myself. LOVE IT :disco:

It's just so ridiculous and funny, I really find it hard to fault at all. Christine Baranski (obviously) and Joan Cusack are both brilliant - especially the latter when she goes INSANE racing along the road/trying to kill them.

The 'subtle' lighting on Anjelica's face for the duration always cracks me up too, especially when she's giving birth. ''Gomez, I'm having a baby, right now'' :D

I wonder if Cher ever made a screen test or if she just wanted it and was never in the running. It might have broken her camp gay icon typecasting.

I haven't seen this in YEARS but I do remember ROARING with laughter at Morticia saying to a kid in fancy dress as Robin Hood or someone "What are you, a LIZARD?"

Of course it doesn't. It's loads of fun but hardly the stuff classics are made of.

LOVE IT. A rare sequel that betters the original. It's just so gloriously camp.

"You have gone too far. You have married Fester, you have destroyed his spirit, you have taken him from us. All that I could forgive. But Debbie... Pastels?"

As a series of sketches, it's great.

    As a cohesive film... no.

I loved it as a kid, and watched it again recently expecting to be disappointed. I wasn't. Wednesday is amazing :disco:

    "Debbaaaay!"

Anything with Christine Baranski, Peter MacNichol, Christina Ricci, a music number with a fat kit in a Turkey suit and reference to Amy Fisher can not fail to be anything other than a cultural epiphany.

Joan Cusack is brilliant in this. Shame she's so bit-part as she can hit lines out the park like no one's business.

I love this film, watched it the other night. I'd have been watching it again if not for Silent Hill: Revelation.
