going to see The Divine David in a few weeks time, as he's doing some stuff here for Shout (Birmingham's Queer Culture Festival). Used to love his routines on TakeOverTV. I understand he does a lot of stand up in London, anyone else seen him?
This looks utterly fucking fabulous and it'll be happening mere minutes from where I live so there really is NO EXCUSE "We've done it and it's wrong." "It's not appropriate."
Never actually seen him live but I did go to a (awful) pantomime at the RVT once, which he was in. He played the genie in Aladdin and his role was already recorded on DVD and beamed onto a screen.

I've only just seen the video Susan-Claire posted. Didn't realise that Bourgeois and Maurice were in it. Bourgeois happens to be the boyfriend of one of the people I went to Cuba with. BEAT THAT KALA
/ Certainly beats some yarn about sharing a Bacardi Breezer with Regina Lund's second cousin twice removed
Shall we? I know this one's as old as GOD KNOWS WHAT but quality is eternal "Gays love the gymnasium. They really have taken on board Hitler's ideal about the perfect body." Also, if you've a spare hour, this is simply marvellous Which reminds me, he's up to something at Bethnal Green Working Men's Club this month and next, so I need to GET BOOKING
