Accidentally ended up watching this last night and it was amazing, we watched 4 episodes.

Apparently based on a comic/graphic novel, not entirely sure how that worked, but very stylishly shot dark comedy about two disfunctional angsty teens.

4 episodes in and I've no idea where its going but this is the sort of shit I'd have obsessed over as a kid. It made me long to be 16 and confused again, which is strange.

I watched the first episode on Channel 4 the other night but I've got a nasty feeling the rest of them are online only. :manson:

Yes THANKS but I didn't buy a 42" telly so I could watch things on a cunting laptop screen.

You should be able to have it play on your tv using an Apple TV or something similar, it is 2017 after all.

Providing you bought the telly this side of 1992 you should be able to link it up to this new and exciting thing called the internet. They don't call them smart tvs for nothing you know.

is this anything like that Brit show with some young ones fighting an evil corporation that has made everyone sterile or something through food products? going from this prophetic cartoon drawn by someone involved with the project. I keep forgetting the title...

Not really no, its more teenage angst mixed with some dark humour and foul language.

And Little Fat Tania from Pulling popped up.

My TV is connected to the wifi but there is no All4 app and if I try to access it through the browser it doesn't work

I'm not sure I could watch it without assuming that he's a paedophile.

The first episode of this was INTERESTING. Should be an easy binge with the short running times.

I do usually find it a bit annoying when Channel 4 only show the first episode on old fashioned TV. Happily this series is on Sky boxsets so no annoying adverts. The Walter Presents stuff ends up feeling like an effort.

Just watched episode 1, loved it. The girl is brilliant. The way it's shot too, like an 80s zombie movie.

Halfway through the series and it is excellent, the two leads are spot on and the duelling voiceovers work well.

There seems to have been a short film version of this a few years back with Craig Roberts as James.

Binged this and thought it was excellent. The two leads really did a great job of making you empathise with quite dreadful people.

Also - an excellent soundtrack throughout so well done to Graham Coxon for that.

:( at the ending. Still really enjoyed it though.

Also Alyssa's complete mess of a dad was kind of hot.

Yeah watching the ending after a heavy few days of partying was a bad idea. Still loved it though.

There was an irritatingly misleadingly named article about this on Digital Spy (oh I KNOW) along the lines of 'everything you need to know about season 2'. The basis of this was noting that not too many people had watched it on All4 but now it was on Netflix maybe it would get a wider audience and it could possibly be granted another season. REALLY.

I opened Netflix accidentally this afternoon and it was the recommended watch. I’ve just finished it all and I am longing for my lost youth. I didn’t know anything about the source material so now that I’ve done some Googling and realised there’s no chance of a second series, I’m utterly distraught.

The boy in this has been typecast now. And it's the weirdest typecasting ever.

This worked so well as 20 minute episodes. I loved those petrol station scenes and the girl is seriously amazing - just give her a spin-off series!

Apparently the boy at the petrol station (Frodo) is Nick Cave's son.

3 episodes in and it's not living up to the promise of the brilliant first episode.

I'm going to persevere as apparently it gets better from episode 4 on. The female lead is pretty unbearable though, so I think I might be on a hiding to nothing.

I bet Tarantino is either lining up a remake or furiously briefing his lawyers.
