I’m on to my 14th hour without a cigarette. That was even more I’ll advised than the 3/4 a bottle of wine it took me to get through it.

@Ellie I got settled in to the house at around 7.30pm and started recording this. When I turned it on later to watch it had recorded from the start. I have no clue how, but I didn’t miss any.

I quite enjoyed this as a bit of bawdy old TOOT. The judges really sold the fake enthusiasm for Patsy Palmer, and hopefully they'll moderate their guesses for next week now they know the calibre they're batting with. It lessens the impact of the reveal when they're all expecting Celine Dion, only for Jackie Brambles to pop out from under the stoat mask.
For the record, I'm certain two of tonight's were John Barrowman and Alexander Armstrong.

The hedgehog was definitely Jason Manford. The clue about him having a job where he died every night matches with him being in Sweeney Todd on stage.

The unicorn is without doubt Jake Shears - I've heard that voice live too many times not to be able to pick it up

I enjoyed it. As with anything like this recording it and then being able to fast-forward through the ads and filler makes it much better.

One of my friends thought Queen Bee was Nicole Roberts. I wasn’t so sure she had the range for Alive. But all I could confirm is that it definitely wasn’t Kimberley. *croak*

Watching back the Queen Bee performance with Nicola in mind you can tell it is ABSOLUTELY her - though I think the big notes are being mimed

I was erring towards Chris Colfer from Glee for Unicorn... Jake Shears is a decent shout but I thought he was a better singer than that.

Not sure about Nicola. The Charlotte Church speculation makes much more sense.

I imagine ITV will be happy with that. It had good to WTF word of mouth as well, so I think it may attract decent catch up figures, too.

Yes, I think that is semi decent for the opener in this climate. It will be interesting to see how the figures go after the first episode. I didn’t think it was the best but did rather enjoy the reveal at the end so am tuning in again.

Also interesting to see how it gave a lead in to The Voice, and how The Greatest Dancer fared against that.
