I would roll quite a lot of pastry for MADAME GLOSSOLALIA and 'Sanvean' is quite possibly the MOST FABULOUS THING EVER :disco:

As played by yours truly at the vastly unpopular Bonsai Bingo Discotheque some moons ago. Ingrates demanding US HOUSE were roundly glassed and the whole venture ended in INEVITABLE HATRED

I like a bit of DCD noodlings if I'm in the mood, though, if I can be a complete heathen, I actually prefer the stuff Lisa's done with Pieter Bourke as there are less of the droney male vocals.

    Oh SACRILEGE

I think 'Into The Labyrinth' is generally regarded as their PIÈCE DE RESISTANCE although I marginally prefer 'Within The Realm Of A Dying Sun'. 'Toward The Within' is also utterly immense. I can also recommend Lisa's collaboration with Patrick Cassidy called 'Immortal Memory' which errs on soundtracky but is fantastic. You should also be able to locate a mp3 somewhere - actually, I think it's on YouTube - of DCD's 'The Love That Cannot Be' (which is on the limited edition live double CDs from their reunion tour sometime in the mid 00's) which had me quivering and weeping like a fading fuchsia :(

Hoorah for Immortal Memory. Her "Duality" album with Pieter Bourke is pretty good too.

I started off my DCD collection with Within The Realm too - jolly good it is too.

EXACTLY. Amongst others, 'The Unfolding' is tremendous. La G is much better when she has a collaborator to rein her in. I can't say I was overly thrilled by THE SILVER TREE :zombie:

I'm in a certain mood so it's high time to bump this thread. Here's tonight's utterly HEART WRENCHING selection

There may well be MORE although not from that fuckawful thing she did with Zbigniew Preisner the other year with the VILE CHILD A-TRILLIN' :argh:

I can't think of anything to say about anything else so here's a bit of EASY LISTENING FOR GAYS

These were the sins of Xavier's past
Hung like jewels in the FOREST OF VEILS
Deep in the heart where the mysteries emerge
Eve bears the STIGMA OF ORIGINAL SIN

God this one is a bit OVERWHELMING :disco:

I've just realised who would be the ideal Australian representative for Eurovision 2018 (and it's given me an excuse to tart this thread up)

Obviously they'd never do it and Madame would spend the entirety of it swanning round in her capes and dishing out the glacial hauteur but I cannot imagine anything more utterly fucking sensational apart from Enya representing Ireland (ideally mimed) :disco::disco::disco:

No sneak previews of upcoming hot goods so let’s have ‘Agape’ from the last album while I adjust my cape :disco:
