I'm not seeing Kylie tonight nor is it my last working day of the week.

    We are all so unique.

I'm off to Brighton for the weekend. First time I've been back since I left and I'm really quite excited.

I'm back at work. Istill feel like shit but I can't put my finger on why and I've got a dress to take back to Next because it made me look like the world's worst drag queen.

I thought something sparkly would be good for Kylie on Sunday. Instead, the phrase "mutton dressed as mutton" sprang to mind. Ah well.

I’m exhausted and can’t put my finger on why. Maybe there’s just something in the air...

    Good Morning all.

This week feels like it has completely and utterly dragged for me. Multiple problems on a property I am getting renovated, and I just can’t be bothered. :(

We'll be going through that soon enough with Mr L's mother's house. Can't say I'm looking forward to it.

I’m on my way to my hotel in Madrid. So far I’ve seen a huge Primark, and none of the tarantulas I’ve been fearfully Googling, so it gets a thumbs up from me.

I hope you both have better luck than me. This particular property got cladding insulation put on the outside, and when the workmen have done it they have put a new flue on the boiler the wrong way. This has in turn let all the torrential rain come in through the boiler, and come through the ceiling in to the hallway.

Are you doing it up with a view to selling it later?

Probably renting it out in the short - mid term. But through a letting agency so we don't have so much responsibility if things need doing. Plus I had a friend who had her fingers burned when she was renting her flat out privately and it took her nearly three years going through the legal process to get what she was owed.

In the long term we can sell it and our house, and buy a cat sanctuary somewhere on the south coast :)

I am loving this sass from Star. Lovely to see her sporting a different colour from beige.

But I've not said anything horrible to you! I don't know why you're being sarky with me. I just pointed out that the tag you were referring to did not say 'bore'.
