I have a phone call about a director of marketing job today.

    I don't want a job.

Someone has sounded me out about a new job yesterday. Or a new job share- sharing one role with someone and taking on half another role in a different but related company. I laughed at it at first but can’t get it off my mind now. Considering how much I hate my job currently, I’m extremely tempted.

I just applied for a promotion. Although having 'senior' in front of my title will make me sound old if I get it :(

I might request to be referred to as 'Senior Associate (But He Doesn't Look A Day Over Junior Associate)'

I nearly didn't reply to the message, just thought of it as 'meh' and now I've spoken to them I really want it.

Well, what's the worst case scenario? You get it, take it and it's not for you. Not the worst, is it?

We had a Where's Wally Forum when we first launched Moopy.

It was "Whitley Bay Forum Now" that got me tittering.

I wish the flag forum was a serious suggestion. We could have had a poll dedicated to which country makes the best use of the pan-African colours!

Well there’s a flag THREAD somewhere, which generated quite a lot of excitement... :side-eye:

Who said they're not serious suggestions?

We had 4 members online at one point yesterday. Imagine the crowds if we had flag forum!

One of my favourite news stories of recent years is the seagull who merrily tucked into a Yorkshire terrier (and they deserve it, let’s face it) like it was some sort of FLAN :disco:

I know that I could spend hours debating whether Romania and Chad essentially have the same flag or whether the differences are more important than the similarities.

The blue in the Romanian flag is cobalt whereas in the Chad flag it's indigo. Or was it the other way round.

If I'm honest, I might have been exaggerating when I said I could debate this for hours.

    Anyone got any caravan confessions?

I briefly did a law A-Level back in the 1990s. As part of it we went to see a trial. It was a paedophile who used to rape teenagers in his holiday caravan. Very scarring.

I actually went to a man’s caravan while on holiday in Hunstanton when I was 11. I don’t actually remember what happened - probably just a quick fondle - but I’m sure I wasn’t at all traumatised, which almost certainly suggests that I WANTED it. Anyway I was told off for being very naughty and told NEVER to do it again :)

I once upset my mum by having a wank in the caravan we were staying in when we were in France. I was 15 and not of sound mind. I would emphasise that this took place in the toilet, I wasn't just sat in the middle of the thing or suchlike.

    Sorry.

BTW, it was vibrations that gave it away.

Seriously, I do not miss that fucking thing one little bit.
