CrazySexyCool is the only one that really works as a cohesive album though I'm still not that keen on it. T-Boz's voice gets awfully grating over the course of 15 tracks. The last two have some spectacular highs but are generally padded out with the most awful filler.

    Which leaves me with...

    1. No Scrubs
    2. Hey Hey Hey Hey
    3. Creep
    4. Silly Ho
    5. Case Of The Fake People
    6. Turntable
    7. Diggin' On You
    8. FanMail
    9. Quickie

EDIT: I've just got to :manson: myself for missing something very obvious. :manson:

    1) I'm Good At Being Bad
    2) Unpretty
    3) No Scrubs
    4) My Life
    5) Fan Mail
    6) Silly Ho
    7) Don't Pull Out On Me Yet
    8) Automatic
    9) Come On Down
    10) Lovesick

Guess which TLC album is my 2nd favourite album of all time. I really do love every non-interlude on it.

Crikey, really? I think the whole thing veers between 5 star corkers and 1 star dross. I'm Good At Being Bad is probably my least favourite TLC song of all time... :D

Despite jamatthews's love for "I'm Good At Being Bad" (which really is the worst thing TLC have ever done) I'll let him off because he loves "Come On Down" - I thought I was the only one. It should have been a single. It's AMAZING. Much better than "Unpretty", which is of a similar vein.

FanMail is one of those albums that is much better than you think it is - when you put it on you remember the quality. Apart from some great singles, there are some later album tracks (Come On Down, Lovesick, Automatic, Don't Pull Out On Me Yet) which are all GREAT. I like the futuristic sound of the album too, because it is at least different to its predecessor

Not just the sound, the whole thing was fantastically futuristic. Great album art, and of course the vidoes (I'll order a breast enlargement at amazon please).

Here's a QUITE NICE new song by them (recorded for some Japanese compilation album)

    <iframe width="480" height="360" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/_4Xm24YanwM" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

...with a new album to follow at some point SOON or something

Hopefully that new album comes to fruition and is actually very good. I feel like 3D/"Girl Talk"/the reality show was a bum note to end up on considering their legacy

is it just the two of them now or did they actually get round to creating a mock version of Lefteye by way of some reality TV show?

Just the two of them. The reality show thing was supposedly only ever going to be for one single. Poor O'so Krispie.

That "Rainbow" song is FAR TOO GOOD for some obscure Japan-only compilation. I love it.

It's a nice song, quite pensive and washes over you, but it's hardly a single so seems fine for how it's being released. I'm quite hopeful for new material having heard it.

fiddling around Spotify and DISCOGS I've noticed these bitches do not have a proper/comprehensive GH/Best Of compilation. WHY?

They have around 5 but all have some details that don't work for me, eg. they use the non-rap version of No Scrubs, they don't include Dear Lie, they include some ott remixes for Waterfalls or Creep and my fave one is when they don't use the ACTUAL singles for 3D but use album songs (that weren't singles) like In Your Arms Tonight and Turntable, uhm OK.

Isn't Now & Forever a proper GH? I think they were meant to release a GH package the year Left Eye passed but the T-Boz and Chilli pushed to finish what became 3D instead. A GH with "Turntable" and "Damaged" (perhaps a "Hands Up" fun for America bonus track) would have fit the bill and wrapped things up rather nicely after the tragic event.

It includes In your arms tonight and Turntable which were not singles in any form, it omits Dear Lie and Hands Up so pretty close but NO.

I mean I don't see a Britney GH leaving out Boys and replacing it with Soda Pop or Anticipating or the Spice Girls leaving out Mama replacing it with Right fucking Back At Ya or Naked.

I remember being very excited when 'Dear Lie' peaked in its 6th week on the charts, a massive rarity in 1999. I think it was just due to low new years' sales and the single being over-stocked and consequently hitting the bargain bins when it flopped, but still :david:
