    2. You'll See
    3. Ray of Light
    4. Like A Prayer
    5. Hung Up
    6. The Power of Goodbye
    7. Gone
    8. Live To Tell
    9. Sorry (this always reminds me of my early days of gay clubbing, I'd go mad when I heard the mix segue into Sorry)
    10. Time Stood Still

So I like ballid Madonna even more than I thought. In reality this list would mostly be Ray of Light songs if I wasn't trying to be diplomatic to other parts of her discography.

As my list seems to be mostly singles I cobbled together a 60 track album deep cuts Spotify playlist. Enjoying it a lot, as sometimes I don’t dig the albums out because I overplayed some of the singles of various eras.

Madge for me is one of the very few acts who almost always releases the best/most worthy tracks as singles. My best of Madonna playlist is largely singles because she chose so well.

Very much so. I think Rebel Heart was her first mis-step. I understand they probably wanted an uptempo lead but Ghosttown should’ve been the lead single.

I don’t think there was a huge disparity in the lead and what could’ve been lead on those two albums compared to RH.

Oh I think the disparity between "Love Spent" and GMAYL is much greater than that of "Living for Love" and "Ghosttown". I mean LFL may be faceless and a bit tired, but it's not outright awful like the previous lead.

^ Love Spent is...not that good. Watered down version of COAD material but passable album track. Seems to be more liked on here than anywhere else.

Love Spent is amazing and was one of teh best things in that sorry ass album but the bar wasn't really that high (Hi Bday Song and Superstar).

The thing is, if released as a single, it might have suffered bad reviews due to the middle 8 instrumental bit sounds EXACTLY alike to the Abba Sample in Hung Up.

Rebel Heart, what a sad state of affairs. Nothing would have beat a triple threat of singles (after Living For Love) like Wash All Over Me,Devil Pray and Rebel HEart (All AVICII ORIGINAL DEMOS of course)
