Seems like there's lots of talk these days on different upcoming reboots, so I thought we could have a thread dedicated to it and then individual threads if they pick up.

I was watching this list of what's to be rebooted in the next year or so.

    If you can't be fucked:

    #10. “Roswell”
    #9. “The L Word”
    #8. “Sister, Sister”
    #7. “The Jetsons”
    #6. “Murphy Brown”
    #5. “Animaniacs”
    #4. “Young Justice Outsiders
    #3. "Carmen Sandiego"
    #2. "She-Ra"
    #1: "The Twilight Zone"

And I know "Charmed" is getting one too. I also heard that "Hey Arnold" might be getting a reboot too.

Anyone know/looking forward to any other possible reboots?

Or a show on your wishlist?

Young Justice is a new season not a reboot.

I think Mad About You is getting a reboot with Helen Hunt and Paul Reiser.

Why being back Roswell?! I watched all however many seasons of that DROSS

    Sister sister? :D
    Though I did love that

One of my Chinese students once talked about a western cartoon he and all his mates loved with a female warrior, which transpired to be She-Ra. I said she was the female counterpart to He-Man, and he’d never heard of him :D the Chinese obviously came to slay mawma

I read that as Animated Reboots. I was wondering how they would go about doing it for Sister, Sister.

Roswell really was a depressive cheesefest wasn't it? Although I love it solely for its use of Dido's "Here With Me".

The lead guy was FIT AND SAD too, perfect for my teen drama binges on LoveFilm back in the day.

I watched some right dogshit :D even I didn’t finish Smallville though

But that's more Buffy than the old Sabrina as far as I understand.

I read that there's a reboot of Cagney and Lacey in the works too, reimagining them as a pair of single gals in LA :manson:

Is "Sister Sister" going to feature the originals or is it a REBOOT rather than a continuation?

I’m waiting for the Knots Landing reboot, they did Dallas and Dynasty so it makes sense.

Dallas didn't last, though- it would have surely had to for Knots Landing to have continued.

I loved new Dallas- it was just getting PROPERLY great when it ended as well.

I’m sure I read at the beginning of the year that Tia, Tamera and Jackee were in meetings for a continuation of the original series.

Some of these shows don't really warrant re-boots. Magnum PI for instance - you might as well just create a new Private Investigator show and character and then people wouldn't be expecting a new Tom Selleck.

Isn't that what Castle, The Mentalist etc... are? They want to use the name recognition to promote the show.

It's not quite a TV reboot, but there's a new series based on The Karate Kid films (featuring the original cast):

Holy shit, I forgot the girls names! I’ve just had a quick look on Google and brilliantly, there’s a website called the T-Room dedicated to it.
