I'm so annoyed that I moved out of Hackney right before this. I might have been able to skip work for DAYS due to TRAUMA.
On my walk home from work today, all of the shops were shut and the shutters down, helicopters hovering over Victoria Park, was eerie. Just watching on Sky News now literally half a mile from me. I'm ashamed.
Yep! No sign of anything here yet but it's getting closer. There is literally nobody on the streets, just lots of police sirens and helicopters.
It's all rather worrying - especially how it's kicking off in several places now. I'm just afraid that at some point it might not just be material damage anymore at the rate things are developing.
I really want to form a vigilante group to give those trashing my city a good slap. Probably not a good idea, but I really want to do it.
"It always starts with a DEATH" APPARENTLY What might "IT" be then? Though Boris Johnson has clearly fucked this up by taking so long to return. GOOD. GET RID.
Well This is goes to show why gays make better citizens You don't see Old Compton Street in FLAMES do you
I'll grab you a Mighty Mouse if Regent Street goes down It's getting rather APOCALYPTIC now The Met really is up against it. 30,000 of them in TOTAL up against WHO KNOWS HOW MANY "rioters" over a HUGE AREA
Is looting during a riot a more serious crime than shoplifting (criminal damage aside)? I want the scum locked up.
