One of my colleagues lives in Ilford
It's just ANOTHER reason to HATE MORRISSEY.
I can EXCLUSIVELY REVEAL that NOTHING is happening in Brighton of ANY NOTE WHATSOEVER.
How tough do we think the police need to be in situations like this?
Water cannons, rubber bullets, tear gas. Also send in the army if the police can't cope.
I'm so annoyed that I moved out of Hackney right before this. I might have been able to skip work for DAYS due to TRAUMA.
On my walk home from work today, all of the shops were shut and the shutters down, helicopters hovering over Victoria Park, was eerie. Just watching on Sky News now literally half a mile from me. I'm ashamed.
Edinburgh is BRIMMING WITH ACTIVITY, but it's only the TOURISTS.
Apparently Birmingham Primark is ALIGHT.
OMG this is getting silly now
Do you live in B Green, Halli?
Yep! No sign of anything here yet but it's getting closer. There is literally nobody on the streets, just lots of police sirens and helicopters.
Lord, that'll burn for WEEKS. All that polyester
I would say Margate is having similar issues but it's just an average monday night here
It'll be a blaze of NYLON
Twitter seems to suggest reports of riots beginning in Manchester too.
Buildings in Croydon town centre are now on fire. Looks like it could be a busy night for the Met.
Someone send down Kay Burley to do an ON THE SPOT report from INSIDE JD Sports
The handy map of rioting
It's all rather worrying - especially how it's kicking off in several places now. I'm just afraid that at some point it might not just be material damage anymore at the rate things are developing.
This is disgusting.
RT @Paulhitsheet: all quiet in N21 but I did just see a car turning left without indicating
Huge fire in Croydon. What is that building on fire? Are they houses?
Cameron (and Boris Johnson actually) really is committing a bit of a PR DISASTER not being here.
Furniture store I gather.
Don't fear - we have DIANE ABBOTT on Sky News - speaking from the battlefield of Hackney
I really want to form a vigilante group to give those trashing my city a good slap.
Probably not a good idea, but I really want to do it.
Thank the lord. I'm sure Di will SORT 'EM OUT.
David Cameron is now coming home overnight.
I somehow doubt that it's KICKING OFF in BAYSWATER
I want to give them more than a slap.
"It always starts with a DEATH"
What might "IT" be then?
Though Boris Johnson has clearly fucked this up by taking so long to return. GOOD. GET RID.
Oh dear, Clapham Junction is on the BLAZE now
I'd better retreat to my COUNTRY ESTATE
David Cameron is FINALLY coming home.
If an Apple store goes under I want you to STAY STRONG.
Croydon? Clapham Junction?
STOP going south you fuckers.
This is goes to show why gays make better citizens
You don't see Old Compton Street in FLAMES do you
I'll grab you a Mighty Mouse if Regent Street goes down
It's getting rather APOCALYPTIC now
The Met really is up against it. 30,000 of them in TOTAL up against WHO KNOWS HOW MANY "rioters" over a HUGE AREA
Oh dear, this is getting closer... If they're crossing to Stockwell I'm fleeing the country.
Is looting during a riot a more serious crime than shoplifting (criminal damage aside)? I want the scum locked up.

If this were Sim City 2000, I'd bulldoze all the homes of the riots and plant trees instead.
