Let's start with Liberty X's ignoble swansong. This never fails to make me laugh. The CGI graphics straight out of a 90s computer game, the completely out of sync dance routine they seem to be making up on the spot, the awful extras...

Creamy's version of Neverending Story wasn't a bad video, just an atrocious version of the song!

There was nothing sinister about Lolly!

Have you ever heard 'Christmas In Lollyworld'? It's even better! Really captures the spirit of the holiest of days as opposed to the consumerism that defines a modern Christmas.

"Christmas in Lollyworld would mean lots of toys for boys. And girls. And snow men would laugh and play. And throw their arms round the world on Christmas day..."

"Ride It" really is one of the most JAW DROPPINGLY terrible videos I've ever seen

"Desire" was just as bad, but with a bigger budget...

How come Creamy also released Help I'm a Fish? I'm sure they were called Little Trees or something.

Anyway, this vid always made me laugh:

i have posted this before, but if anybody can find worse I really will be an impressed boy. Actually the worst music video/girlband I have ever seen

Loose Chippins and the epic "Inspiration" -

    <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/BK29_q44qL0&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/BK29_q44qL0&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

The related videos box links to Anne-Lie Ryde and her performance of Sa Nara. This is about 10 times more tragic.

    :D Loose Chippins!

I lament the day that we discontinued our TV subscription with Tiscali. They had the Loose Chippins video to 'Girls Getting Naughty' on demand. They were definitely the worst girlband of all time.

On a related tip, late 90s Shane Lynch-related (Another of his sisters was in this band) Irish flop girlband FAB and their Max Martin wannabe cover of Love Is A Battlefield -

    <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/h2hYwTTF2eg&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/h2hYwTTF2eg&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

and my final contribution to the category of awful flop girlband music videos, and my personal favourite, original Popstars winners TRUEBLISS and the most expensive music video ever made in New Zealand. They REALLY should not have bothered.

    Truebliss - Number One -

    <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/2Y4VRCI1yi4&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/2Y4VRCI1yi4&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

Seriously WTF. WHO one earth thought that concept was a good idea? Who in the entire world decided the orange bit of dental floss bob Truebliss is wearing is a good look? THE FAT GIRL? Since when were blue men sexy?!

The first time I found it I watched it several times over. I just did not understand.

'Patiently Waiting' by Twen2y 4 Se7en was always perplexingly bad. So bad, in fact, that whoever uploaded it to youtube could only sit through 30 seconds of it.

Unfortunately, youtube does not have my favourite video of this genre, 'Nothing Under This Mink' by Rebecca Hayes, but if you ever come across the opportunity to see it I strongly advise you to give it your full attention.

I don't see what's laughably dreadful about that Nicki French video? I think it's beautifully shot and she looks great in it, like she's just popped into the studio on her way home from Tesco with her perishables still in the boot of her car. She didn't even stop to take her coat off.

    She had a single?

Her less glamorous but lovely sister went to my 6th form college and was always putting SUPPORT REBECCA HAYES posters up when she was on Pop Idol/performing at the local theatre/giving handjobs in the car park. Nobody cared though.

What a wonderful title it has, although as a fur opponent who doesn't like naked ladies - YUCK.

God I love that song. What's sinister about it? Lolly wouldn't do you any harm VoR (unless you're somehow the original version of Mickey, in which case she already has).

(Actually, does anybody want to stuff Big Boys Don't Cry into the G? PLEASE :shy:)

Yes, she did. Lorenz starred in the video with her. I worked it (I had no choice - I was a junior). I had to set up a dinner with her and some radio people where she moaned about the food (even though it was one of the radio producer's choice of restaurant) and said how annoyed she was she hadn't got a deal with a proper label. It's safe to say she wasn't very good at playing the popstar game.

"Got nothing under this mink, no bra, no panties, not a single thing."

    Wonderful lyrics.
