P.S. Big Ron, if you've had the bubbah, I hope it's called either Michael, or Kylie.

I love WDIHTD! I have nothing to do today. I shall spend the entire day watching old episodes of soaps as I have now bought a HDMI cable to plug my laptop in and use the big screen! Yaaaaay :D

Daft old gay. Although I remember when I got that Neighbours DVD with about 20 classic episodes on I watched the whole lot in one go and spent most the time in tears.

    IS THIS THE SATURDAY THREAD?

I am FUCKED. Went out in Berlin and drank this 8.5% beer. Got home around 4am. I feel like I have been thrown into some bushes and shagged senseless and just left there...

Congrats big ron and GF! :D

    Congrats ron

It's Leeds Pride today. I'm fairly sure I won't bother. Not even the prospect of KELLY WILDE can tempt me, sadly. :(

If you're in Berlin, that's not completely out of the question.

Congrats to Mr and Mrs Big Ron.

Ooh a baby Moopy boy! Conrats Ron and Mrs Ron.

Why is it raining? It's AUGUST. I had plans that did not involve rain. So I shall amend these plans to involve the pub.

I've got a flight booked on a Friday in September to Germany with a friend and she's just text me to say we've got morning flights, not evening flights and she doesn't know what to do as she's got no holiday left. I've just checked and they ARE morning flights, but I've written it on my calendar as "08.10" which suggests I always knew they WERE morning flights, so I've text to make sure if that's definitely not we arranged... but I can't really remember and it's all a bit of a mess. :bad:

    Congratulations to the Family Ron.

I'm not really feeling the benefits of getting caned last night this morning :bruised: I'm practically BEDBOUND.

:disco: Congratulations to RON and RONITA :disco:

I'm at work this morning, but it's not all bad - afterwards my chap's meeting me and taking me up Glencoe :ken:

I also just popped to the shops and spotted someone I hate, who appears to have BALLOONED (and not in the good way). His face looked like a bladder with eyeholes :o

Morning! My laptop has been out of commission since last night. Managed to get it going again by restoring it to before the last Windows update (after doing all kinds of diskscans, defrags and repair procedures). Nevertheless, those four hours of no computer this morning were an eye-opener. It seems I may have some kind of internet addiction. At one point I had a list of things I really needed to Google one of which was "how to make lime marmalade" but I'm over it now I'm back in the 21st century.

I've just been googling pea soup recipes. But I think I'll just make it up as I go along. I mean, how wrong can pea soup go?

I know for pea and ham soup it's just a big pan containing bacon ribs, peas and water, bring it to the boil then simmer for a few hours.

I'm just going to fry up some spring onions and garlic, add the peas and some vegetable stock, bring it all to the boil and simmer it for a bit, and then blend it. I've got some double cream to add to it, if it needs it. And I've got some chopped pancetta in the fridge I can fry up and add to it if I fancy.

Did you both realise it was a storm in a teacup and maybe a bit of overreaction happened?

Pretty much... We laid everything on the table. Both of us were surprised at how the other felt and how we'd grown up! But this time were adults about it. Respected each others views and didn't try to change the other. We split our differences and I left her house at 4.30am with a hug.

There was the suggestion that the last 3.5 years will now be known as the blip.

I am having my first lazy day in weeks and weeks today, loving just watching the Olympics non stop.

I am SO impressed with the the atmosphere in most events, I have not seen much like this in previous Olympics.. so proud!

Bloody hell! That was very scary lightning and thunder! The thunder vibrations came through the table and the pictures on the wall rattled.
