I haven't been to a gig in fucking forever but I've got a few on the horizon for 2019 :disco:

    Feb 28 - Nicki Minaj/Future
    March 14 - Florence
    April 6 - Robyn
    June 6 - Fleetwood Mac

    But what about YOU?

Spice Girls on the 8th and 15th of June.

Keep forgetting but must pick up tickets to Rita in May at the 02.

I did about 20 concerts this year so think it'll be a bit more of a quiet one next year as it would be good to spend a bit more on trips to the continent, and even £30-£40 gigs add up quickly. I've now seen 90% of the artists I have a huge desire to see as well.

I really hope that Spice Girls DO come to Europe. But if so I will have to sell either Nicki/Fleetwood Mac/an organ.

    Absolutely nowt.

I've been to 3 gigs this year. I used to have weeks like that and it was only 10-12 years ago.

Still spending far too much money on these!

    Coming up:

    Nov 15 - Shame
    Nov 16 - Florence + the Machine
    Nov 17 - Middle Kids
    Nov 24 - Peace
Nov 27 - Ms. Lauryn Hill
    Dec 3 - All Saints
    Dec 6 - The Cardigans
    Dec 10 - Mabel
    Jan 22 - Frank Turner
Jan 23 - Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats
    Feb 2 - The Streets
    Feb 17 - Neneh Cherry
    Mar 6 - Billie Eilish
    Mar 10 - Colter Wall
    Mar 18 - Becky Hill
    Mar 22 - Nao
    Mar 28 - Gabrielle
    Jun 10 - Spice Girls
    Jun 15 - Spice Girls
    Jun 16 - Fleetwood Mac

I dread to think how many I'd go to if I actually lived in a city that hosted gigs.

That is immense! I can't imagine how I'd even be able to get up to go to work if I had gig after gig so relentlessly! :D

Nothing. Been doing theatre more than gigs over the past few years. Have loads of that lined up and love the last minute deals.

I'm going to the Spice Girls.

Generally speaking I find gigs to be anxiety-inducing and exhausting and far too much hassle :bruised:

I pretty much agree with this. And that's before considering how stressful just trying to buy the tickets in the first place can be.

Yeah, I didn’t love it. The woman on as Tina Adrienne something was brilliant, but the show was really odd, just feeling like a tribute show in the end. Ike was portrayed as a complete monster which didn’t make any sense - not a patch on the What’s Love Got ago Do With It film. Average age of audience was about 60, but we did get to see Barry Manilow who was there that night.

Ooh, only done this twice (Prince and NKOTB) when a friend couldn’t make it at the last minute. It wasn’t that bad actually. You tend to make friends in the queues, but those were general standing tickets so no one was really talking to each other once inside.

Oh I might give it a miss then. If it tours locally I might have a bit more interest.

The What’s Love Got To Do With It film is and always will be a stonewall classic.

She’s a good singer but it’s a cabaret show with loads of jokes and stuff. She’s an absolute hun.

I suppose it started out us seeing her for funky style irony reasons but not we properly stan her.

I've done it before too and I genuinely don't mind. Just turn up when the gig starts. If we didn't have the baby Mr Star would have come with me. But it's their 'farewell' tour and they added a date at Wembley which is on my doorstep so I didn't want to miss out!

Ooh I quite wanted to see Charlotte Gainsbourg. It's difficult to know what kind of an audience it will be other than FRENCH
