Our 2014 thread is pathetic :(

I need to get back on this:

Vanilla greek yogurt with banana and small slice of wheat bagel
Crab, avocado, cucumber sushi roll, and an asparagus, mango, red pepper, avocado, tofu roll with a small ginger salad
    Carrots and red pepper hummus
    Several cups of coffee
Greek chicken chops with side of lima beans, peas and green beans with tzaziki appetizer and amazing Greek salad
Brownie chips (basically burnt bits of brownie) with glass of milk

It's been a marvelous food day. Blessed. :)

I can't actually move having just wolfed down a chicken curry with added seafood selection and an avocado. I'll need to do the gym tonight.

    Today is/will be

Granola with greek yoghurt (pre gym)
chicken breast and salad sandwich (brown bread) (post gym)
    full chicken roast dinner
    leftover sausage casserole (supper)

I am eating more than I usually do but have lost half a stone in the last few weeks. I didn't need to lose any weight at all but loving feeling this toned. Fitting in the gym regularly and lifting more weights is really paying off.

    Yoghurt with muesli
    Handful of smoked almonds
Tuna, green beans, a mixed frozen veg selection, and rocket.

I got told today that protein shakes are very bad for your liver. Does anyone know if this is true? I'm going to be cooking turkey mince after Game of Thrones to take to the gym with me later.

I've put on some TIMBER the past 6 weeks, 2 trips to the UK followed by 3 weeks of guests here = fuckloads of ALE.

Just writing a shopping list that looks something like a PETTING ZOO food order.

    So far today:

    2 boiled eggs
    3 asparagus spears

The rest of the day will probably be spent eating 50% carb 50% fat plane food.

I've been gyming and dieting for about a week now, in the hope of losing at least a stone or so, now I'm pretty much finished college. However that included a massive night of booze, which ended in cocaine and then a Dominos for breakfast.

In the first five days I put on about 3 lbs although I suspect that was wine and pizza. Back down to starting point as of today. Seeing as it's LOW FAT EVERYTHING and I'll have the SALAD and more exercise than I've had in about 12 months, I felt it may be slightly faster that this. I will however continue.

If you just keep burning more calories than you put it the weight will drop off. I don't know why people make its so complicated. Yes, if you want to be ripped you'll need to give it more thought than that, but if you're just looking to lose weight, eat clean and trian hard and you'll do it.

I'm not really bothered about being "ripped" at this point in my existence. At the moment I'm still getting back into the gym. I'm certainly not at the stage of more calories than I'm eating though! Although with dieting and increased visits that will hopefully crossover into weight loss sooner or later.

Yeah but even in a sedentary job you are still burning calories just by being alive. I can't remember the baseline for your average desk fatty, but if you add that with what you burn at the gym you'll get a good idea.

Get the myfitnesspal app on your phone, if you put food in, and exercise done, it'll tell you how you're doing per day.

I think it's about 2000-2500 calories a day that you burn if you're an adult male in a sedentary job.

It's not NEW to me. It's just my last few years in Brighton involved a very physical job which probably burned most of it off.

We went to Nandos yesterday. I had the GREEN LEAF SALAD and PEAS for my sides. I am shocked at how relatively good I'm being. Still no apparent weight, but my trousers are a more comfortable fit, which is about 25% of why I'm doing this.

A friend of mine said they are perfectly fine, he's been taking all kind of protein shakes and powers for nearly 20 years and hasn't had any bad side effects. I've recently started taking Optimum Nutrition chocolate protein powder and it's delicious.

    Today:

    Optimum nutrition Chocolate protein powder
    Banana

    Sliced turkey and broccoli
    Handful of mixed nuts

Tuna salad with mixed peppers and olives.
    Orange

I don't think it's protein shakes themselves that are bad for the liver, but too much protein certainly can be. So I guess it's just keeping it reasonably balanced.

Now excuse me, I've still got three Jaffa Cakes left in the packet I opened at 9.30am. If I leave it much longer, some bastard will want one.

I was always under the impression that unless you were getting serious about massive mass gains, you should be able to get all the protein you need from your diet unless your a lentil quaffing meat dodging chode.

I'm aiming to shift these 2kgs of beer by the end of the month.

    Two green teas
A bowl of blueberry wheat cereal things with low fat milk.
Spinach, caper, crouton and low fat french dressing salad x2.

No idea what dinner will be. Maybe a veggie stir fry.

Between this kind of diet and gyming I would LOVE to lose a stone by the middle of June. I have lost 2lb in the last week and that included a huge dominos pizza on a comedown.
