I don’t think starting any day with cider is a good idea. A nice French Malbec on the other hand...

I don't really like wine aside from sparkling wine and IF I do drink wine I prefer white. In fact I don't care for alcohol much. For some reason I post in this thread on THOSE days.

    Bit CHEESE HEAVY today

    Three double espressos
Four slices of toasted German rye bread with Emmental. I do like it toasted because it sort of caramelises
A so-called DELUXE crispy pancetta macaroni cheese thing from Lidl. The pancetta wasn’t entirely crispy so I picked those bits out. Still, not as bad as their standard macaroni cheese which is one of the most revolting things I have ever eaten
A handful of prunes for goodness and digestion :)

Oh and I might have had some chocolate as well :side-eye:

Not wishing to be alarmist but I’m sure that someone said to me a while ago that the body has terrible trouble digesting lamb. If it doesn’t slop out while you’re in bed, it apparently travels up to the lung and gets lodged or something :(

Oh DEAR. Do you think prunes might help push it back down again?

I actually just had some lamb curry again and almost needed co-codamol to finish it.

I see that nobody bothered to illuminate us on this one and now I am moderately desperate to know. Is it basically Bockwurst or the like? I actually made a so-called salad with those a while ago and it was fucking awful

Although not as bad as that thing I did with poxy CHIVES. I think I was trying to approximate that cold cheese pasta tub crap you get in supermarkets and God it was fucking vile. Far too chivey :gross:

I bet those prunes you ate were covered in chocolate. I love those by the way but they're expensive.

I am also happy to let you know the passing of the lamb went surprisingly well. :)

In the Summer grilled sausages with some salad on the side is quite nice. I've never heard anyone chopping them in unless it's a potato salad?

    :D Oh I AM pleased!

The prunes were separate to the chocolate which was actually that quite exclusive boutique brand Fin Carré, so it worked out a bit pricey as I’m sure you can imagine :)

I think it was with potato or maybe it was pasta. Either way it was very unrequired :(

I'm trying to cut down on my meat consumption- when I was POOR, I used to quite often have vegetarian meals but now it seems my meals are dominated by meat. I didn't eat any yesterday and am just having lunch which is a salad with cottage cheese and Quorn sausages...

I'm not sure I know many people (well at least the chattering classes) who aren't eating less meat.

I know, RIGHT? Mine has been less about the environmental impact, though, and more about the fact that I just feel unhealthy when I do.

I do have problems with eating meat every now and then anyway- I love the flavour, I don't love my conscience...

Slightly too much when I looked at the calories Super Berry Granola with Greek-effect yogurt and doughnut peaches :)

I didn’t notice any balloonage in that recent picture you posted. Were you wearing a corset?
