It was mentioned shortly in another thread, but I found the article interesting and was wondering if anyone else agreed and who disagreed.

I rarely jump on the whole ISN'T THE CAMPAIGN MESS bandwagon, because it just make sme sad, altho thankful that AS Kylie, she will always get another chance. However that article is just summarising months of comments from this forum. Come on WOMAN. Read Moopy and stop making TITTISH ERRORS

As much as I hate Attitude's "journalism" and editorial stance on NEARLY EVERYTHING EVER, this is absolutely "nail on head". And as Ag says, what I still find baffling in this day and age is that no record company heads are picking up on this- they have an absolutely free internet research tool in the various messageboards and absolutely EVERYONE would have done "X" much differently, but it's all been entirely ignored...

Though those talking heads can fuck off...who DID decide Jodie Harsh was worthy of comment on ANYTHING ? Shit off...

The part of the article that really speaks volumes, which I haven't really thought about is all the fans making new track lists for "X". It's never a good thing when the fans believe HALF the songs on "X" aren't even as good as a chunk of the outtakes that never made the album.

The reason that the article is so spot on is that Peter Robinson cares as much as we all do, and is as baffled as we all are that this campaign has gone to shit. He's a freelance writer, not an Attitude employee which is why it's actually half decent. I'm still VERY surprised they printed it.

EMI is just down the road from me, perhaps I'll go down there tonight and HANDCUFF MYSELF TO SOME RAILINGS like the gays did for Your Disco Needs You.

Those cunts would do well to sort themfuckingSELVES out FIRST before they PASS JUDGEMENT on anyone EVER

Indeed the same could be said for PETER ROBINSON, who - it is nice to see - is still stuck on that RATHER ANNOYING TRAIT of jumping on a bandwagon SIX MONTHS after the rest of the world is OVER IT

Peter Robinson never put me on the jury for the Popjustice £20 music prize, so he's my nemesis.

Oh I like "Jodie Harsh" now. :D I wanted to hate her after that ridiculous name. Didn't know anything about her at all but the name is hideous enough.

What regurgitated crap though and it's all beneath contempt - Mark Frith? Ugh. I think Lucio is the only possible cool one, he was on Xfm before.

I agree on pretty much all counts, except for the bit about people "laughing" at her. The reality is most people don't care enough to notice, which sums up the current situation she's in.

Yeah, nobody's laughing at her, she's still highly thought of, just a meh response. 2 Hearts as first single was the fatal error. Jeremy Joseph is SUCH a big fan he reckoned "In My Arms" was the follow-up.

And what DID they say at SayHey then? I hope they demolished every sentence.

In My Arms was the follow up in some territories.

SayHey has coined the name 'twat-itude' :manson:

Even though the article is basically what MOST of the people on SayHey have been saying the past 8 months put together in a formal article.

I think one of the most telling parts of that article is about how two of the execs in charge of her album (and therefore career) were at odds about whether to go pop or go credible

you'd THINK BY NOW THEY WOULD GET IT?

Drag Queens are always quite SAD out of drag. They tend to be either really scrawny or fat bald old men.

I think we can both agree I'd be PRETTY SHIT.

I'd be the most mild-mannered, unassuming drag queen ever. People would just think I an overgroomed old woman who'd wandered in by accident.

Jodie Harsh doesn't have much personality IN drag either though
