I know someone won't even be thinking about taking a holiday and the idea right now seems fairly REMOTE. but depending on the speed of vaccinations and what happens when the weather gets warmer it may be possible to SUMMER VACAY. if so, where will you go?
I don’t see myself going away this summer as I think there may still be a lot of pre/post flight border testing which sounds like a nightmare to me. Although in the winter I would like to reschedule last years aborted trip to Brazil.
I have 3 days booked in Belfast in June (deferred from July 2020) 2 weeks booked in Canada in July (deferred from May 2020) I've only really booked them because of airlines being flexible with bookings. I can't say i'm holding out much hope. Not had a proper holiday since Feb 2019 and it's driving me insane.
Booked an apartment on Lake Annecy in July. Was supposed to do the same last year but ended up In Normandy as had to take a week off holiday to be able to quarantine too :/
If I can afford it and you know COVID, I’d like to go back to Valencia for longer than the day I spent a couple of years ago.
I had always had New York for my 30th in my head, which is a bit over a year away. Which should both be far enough away for restrictions to be lifted and for me to save for it.
Well I'm going to North Carolina this weekend but I am dreading it I'm hoping to go to Washington DC and Toronto (for a wedding that has been rescheduled 3 times now) this year Whenever it is possible again, I want to go back to England In theory, Argentina, but I want to be able to save enough to really do it so it'll probably be a few years
I usually take my big holiday between September and November, so I'm still holding out hope that it may be possible for this year. I was looking at sub-Saharan Africa for my next trip, with Namibia or Madagascar at the top of the list, so hopefully one of those. If long haul trips don't seem like a good idea this year, but short haul ones do then somewhere like Sicily would be a possibility.
I’m hoping to take working from home to next level later this year by staying one month a time in Berlin, Rome, Paris and London.
I wanna go on a cruise But at the moment all we have is the Lake District in September. I think we will be doing UK for a while.
Easyjet have CANCELLED Madeira in March. Not going to book anything else until things look a lot clearer.
Then Ibiza to see friends, Toronto to see friends, and I want to continue my journey on visiting every state in America. My daughter is 18 now, so if my son doesn’t want to come with me he can stay at home with her (unless she wants to come of course, then he has no choice. )
Don’t know when it will be but I think the first and most realistic prospect is seeing friends that live in Europe ... so potentially some short breaks to Munich and the north of Spain.
I'm also attending a wedding that has been rescheduled 3(!) times already at the end of the month (though not in Toronto ) but just the thought of boarding a plane gives me an anxiety attack.
I’m headed home first week of March, but that’s more for to actually LIVE for a while so not really a holiday. Better than over here I guess, mind. Hopefully I can get to Australia at some point this year if the borders open but given how far down on the vaccine list we are I’m not sure that’ll happen,
if possible Mr M will go back to Florence to work and I very much intend to visit and spend some weeks, working or not holidays I've got two wishes. a) Hamburg and Dresden, b) a big trip to Japan
I was supposed to be going to Bahrain and Dubai in Feb, but thats unlikely. Will maybe reschedule that. Will spend most of August on the road in the van being a fucking bum.
Asuming we’re allowed out again by summer we will deffos end up in Ibiza at the end of summer. Ron Jr misses his friends.
2020 was supposed to be the year I go somewhere FAR, instead it was another holiday in SPAIN (first world problems ). I'm really hoping I can do that this year.
Honeymoon take II in October/November And we'll probably take some weekends here and there in the UK till then.
ok rita ora. Anyways, visiting friends in Lisbon with pretty high certainty but WHEN? Who knows. And even then Lux probably won't be open. Ah well.
I can't really think seriously about this stuff. I had wanted to spend the summer writing a novel in Berlin, and me and Mrs Bev dream of running away to SE Asia, but who knows what will be possible and when.
Was hoping to sneak a long weekend in Porto in late March but pretty much giving up on that for now. I might book a free cancellation hotel for somewhere in the summer and play flights by ear until closer to the time.
