I don't feel hated enough already so I'll go for:

    1. Celebration
    2. Shark in the Water

The other 2 I don't really like. Sometimes I need to get used to a song (sorta happened with Obsessed) and I only listened to MDB a couple of times. Therefore:

    3. Obsessed
    4. Million Dollar Bill

VV Brown IS the music industry. All of these comeback singles would have no sphere to exist in were it not for this musical icon.

VV's new smash is called Game Over. She's asking for it. And of course I quite like it.

I'm starting to like Million Dollar Bill as well. It's creeping past Obsessed.

I see VoR has not voted in this poll yet

As it stands then they could all be massive hits

LOLZ. I just heard Celebration. You guys were all creaming over THAT? I'd expect better than that from Sophie Ellis Bextor.

Do you know I do like Celebration. Not as much as most here, but I do like it. It's SERVICEABLE.

But Million Dollar Bill is in another league altogether. It's like a statement of intent, a declaration that she's BACK and means business.

Obviously Obsessed is just fucking shit.

Don't hate me Moopy but MILL $ BILL isn't getting the greatest reaction elsewhere on the internet and Whitney needs the gays on board at the very LEAST

Perhaps it'll be a grower for most

Most of what I've seen on the internet has been rave reviews for it, there have been a small few on UKMix who didn't like it but I think it's the same lot who were praising (and still are) "I Didn't Know My Own Strength"

Well obviously it's early days but the response on Popjustice has been as mixed as it is for 'Obsessed' whilst 'Celebration' and 'She Wolf' have been much better-received...

I made a summer diva comeback poll on Buzzjack where these results currently stand:

    She-Wolf -- 37 votes
    Celebration -- 32
    Obsessed -- 21
    Million Dollar Bill -- 10

like I said though, early days, and I think it's a grower anyway. I was just saying Celebration seemed to have a much better response across the internet from the word go.

Isn't Buzzjack populated by 15 year old emaciated gay boys that think Jordin Sparks and Keri Hilson are the height of musical excellence?

    Opinions void.

I think younger more chart conscious people are hesitant cause it's a new Whitney single and it's a bit more pop and loosely than many expected... I really think it will build momentum over the next couple months (it doesn't have that much time before the album drops in the US, mind)

Actually Keri is VERY CONTROVERSIAL amongst the Buzzjack population :hitler:

But no, there's a fair bit of intelligence amongst the rubbish gays. There's ME for STARTERS

    LOON ESCAPE CLAUSE #24:

I don't really expect all conquering singles chart success with this project anyway. It would be wonderful, but I actually don't really care THAT much. All I want is some solid album sales and an overall success story. It doesn't need to be a chart-busting The Emancipation Of Mimi success.

Whitney has always been a bit too dignified/lazy to FLOG herself dry.

This is pretty much what I'm wishing for with this album:

single in US top 10, UK top 5
album 2xp in US, UK... but Platinum would be good realistically
And many Grammy nods which I do think will happen since Clive is such a big part of this project

I think that's VERY ambitious POP!

The album should get off to a good start (250k first week perhaps) but I don't think the singles will be big hits. No way is Mill going top 5 in the UK and I doubt top 10 in the US although that's more likely. Album won't go platinum here either, perhaps once or twice gold though. Grammy's I'm with you on, it's a cert.

All Whitney needs to do is X-Factor in late November/December and we'll have some whopping festive sales to give it a respectable UK total.

    Worked with Celine.

Yes, with an X Factor performance (and let's face it, Cowell will want her) I can see this album going platinum in the UK reasonably easily.

I can't wait for her X-Factor intro montage :disco:

I reckon we'll get some sort of Saturday night ITV Whitney special too. Otherwise, I can't imagine what other shows she would do. She's hardly the type to lower herself to the GMTV sofa...

It'll probably be X Factor, followed by WhitneyMania, featuring Tricia Penrose, Nikki Sanderson and the cast of Emmerdale

Yeah you're right Jon, it needs some oomph because TBH I erred on the side of downplaying her achievements with that montage (hello EXECUTIVE PRODUCER, MOVIE PRODUCER, SINGLE MOTHER, BET LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD, 2ND HIGHEST RATED INTERVIEW EVER) but you know what we love about Whitney is that her music speaks for itself
