I think CYT (US) and SFY (Europe) followed by FTLs (worldwide) would be perfect.

    FOR THE LOVERS

But I'd go with "Nothin' But Love" or "Call You Tonight".

CYT is bound to be released now or later, Rolling Stone said it and MDB were 'key tracks' and you don't argue with Rolling Stone. Plus it would be an easy #1 on A/C radio, which is her new home now. If she says SFY is her fave than maybe that's a hint at a European release, it wouldn't work in the US.

She's predicted to do another 70k next week, so total sales should be around 610k in the US. With the holiday period coming soon she should be platinum by the end of the year quite easily, especially if she does that rumoured tv special.

I'm actually thinking that with the holidays and the inevitable Grammy's frenzy 2xp might be a possibility

She will be performing on Wetten Dass next Saturday - MDB. I hope she hits that long note at the start and end of the track, I mean she 'attempted' it on GMA so if she isn't hoarse a la Oprah she should do it.

I haven't seen it but as I don't watch The Box 24 hours a day I'm choosing to believe it's on at least globe conquering (ie hourly) rotation

It's actually #12 now, but welcome to last week.

I presume the download is added to iTunes on Sunday as the physical is out on Monday.

I guess she'll be featured on X Factor on October 17th then, if her album is still scheduled for October 19th.

Ha. I knew it was old news, but I thought it was pretty impressive considering how far ahead of release it is.

When guests perform live on X Factor is it always recorded live or have any pre-recorded it a few weeks in advance?

Apparently she's singing ILTY on Wetten Dass...that's more of a vocal risk, hope she's not hoarse.

The performance was quite GOOD I thought, the first half anyways.

The interview was a bit crap but that was not down to her. Gottschalk's to blame there.

Best performance of the era so far, by a mile! It seems all the major notes were reached and held, a few tiny bits that were questionable but overall I thought it was tremendous and a very warm performance. I really think she can pull off a tour with the proper training and soft schedule.

Those ending 'yoooooooooooooooooooooooouuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu's were amaze :disco:

She was quite THERE vocally, wasn't she?

I mean, I didn't pay major attention to her live performances so far but I expected WORSE from what I've read.

    That was actually amazing.

She really IS such an extraordinary interpreter. Whitney has the ability to really sell a song, and tell it's story, like no other.

For me, this performance really seals "I Look To You" as the song of the year.
