Did he buy a rifle around the corner? I guess you can do it like that in America.
OMG that is just horrendous. So horrible. Like you said, even without the images, it's harrowing to hear. WHEN are they going to get a grip on this? (Answer: Never).
And another one. This time in a synagogue.
"If they had protection inside, maybe it could have been a different situation".
He is blaming the synagogue. Seriously.
Well he's not blaming the synagogue. He's blaming the lack of armed forces for the high body count. Like he has said in schools etc. It's the worst argument ever, but it's not 'blaming'.
I mean THIS is patently not true.
As is this.
Oh apparently it is true. It sounds like he didn't vote because Trump is too 'globalist'.. wow... Trump is too globalist.
12 dead now at a shooting in California.
If only there was some kind of connection between having guns and shooting people with them and not having guns and not shooting people with them. It's just so complicated.
They need MORE GUNS to defend themselves. Everyone should have one, several, hundreds. They would feel safe as soon as everyone is walking down the street with a rifle. Kids too.
If you think London is getting bad for knife crime, if America banned guns then things would get a whole lot more stabby.
Yes, just like we all need MORE knives on the street in the UK. It’s the only solution.
If everyone had bombs we might be able to stamp out terrorism.
How would a ban on guns work practically? Would they just stop selling them, or would the people with guns already have to hand them in somewhere?*
* This is a hypothetical question, because obviously with the Republicans AND Democrats in the pockets of those who make money off using toddlers as target practice, they're never going to make such a bold stand.
Australia had a three-month gun amnesty where people could hand them in and got 57,000 of them
Australia is nowhere near on the scale as the US though. Doing that to Americans would be the equivalent of banning teabags in the UK.
YEAH WELL I was just saying what happened and I'm sure you could do it at a state/county level
Oooh CAN WE?
Shockingly I hate tea as well, although the real way to piss people off is to say that you don't like chocolate.
There's honestly a better chance of changing the system that alienates people enough to go out and massacre than confiscating 300million firearms. Guns are so wrapped up in the tradition of America and they're not all owned by right-wing lunatics.
If they're not giving theirs up (and let's face it, they'll find a way around a ban, and there's no way the state - as it is currently - will enforce it fairly), I don't think everyone else should lose their protection just to set an example.
Or tell them your favourite chocolate is white chocolate.
They should just ban the ammo. Everyone can keep their guns, but then they could only use what they have left. They’d be only used when it was an emergency
Wasn't it Chris Rock who said that bullets should be $10,000 each?
Banning the ammo is a good idea.
I love the way hard gun rights advocates are saying the shooting in Los Angeles is PROOF that restricting guns doesn't help because Caifornia has some of the stricter gun laws in the US.
IT STILL HAS SOME OF THE LAXEST GUN LAWS IN THE WORLD THOUGH DOESN'T IT...
