Always. It’s wonderful. I still play it when I DJ, though the reaction it gets I imagine is very much thanks to Sophie’s version...

See everywhere. The album was kind of abandoned after the first single in the UK- and in terms of commercially released stuff. “A Song For The Lonely” was withdrawn and that was it. In the US they only concentrated on the dance market after the first single stiffed...

that's what I saw in Wikipedia. It was that GLORIOUS period of time between 1999-2003 in the US where we would get these maxi-singles with up to 10 different versions :disco:

Too little 'One By One' representation in these top tens. It's so wonderful.

There's just so much Cher to appreciate. I haven't even scratched the surface myself when it comes to her pre-90s stuff, but I think I need to break this ranking down a little.

This. I wish it had properly been allowed out- I think it would have been a decent sized hit for her, given the Gaga connection...

I think Gaga was at her peak when it was recorded and she didn't want the Cher connection to knock off COOL POINTS, but that just may be me being SHADY given how I feel about GAGS. It could have just been released as a Cher single with uncredited vocals by Gaga or something. I agree it would have been a decent sized hit..
