Ive ALWAYS liked Britney to be honest, but beyond the singles, the albums have been filler, filler and more filler. "In The Zone" is the first consistently good one she's done I think- there are at least six or seven single choices as well Id say...

Her albums have got progressivley better... One More Time was CACK, Ooops was a MARGINAL improvement, Britney was fucking excellent and Zone I may buy today!

I wouldnt say "Britney" was excellent but it wasnt bad. And it has "Before The Goodbye" on it, which says it ALL

"In The Zone" is about a MILLION times better. Im REALLY into "I Got That Boom Boom" at the moment. Its JOYOUS...

There is only one ballad on "In The Zone" and its actually quite nice. Its more R&B flavoured than "Britney" but in a VERY good pop way. The only shit song on it is "Outrageous", R. Kelly's contribution. God knows how they are gonna pick the singles though. To THESE ears there are-

    Me Against The Music
    I Got That Boom Boom
    Showdown
    Breathe On me
    Toxic
    Brave New Girl
    Everytime

    - at LEAST which could be singles and apparently the aforementioned DIRE "Outrageous" is also being considered...

    Yes:manson:
When she started she was 17 and painfully thin, and the pigtails do NOTHING for me, now she looks more like a woman, or maybe it is the slut image? Anyways, on TOTP her hair was well dodgy, get a HAIRCUT!

Can't find any details on the reissue right now, but I'm sure I saw it announced on several forums for release on the 9th of March.

Oh well, I'm not TOO bothered then.

I bought it yesterday, and I only listened up to Toxic (track 6?), and I was quite impressed.

With all the raving that everyone's done about Toxic, I've really tried to like it, but it never progresses in my mind beyond the stage commonly referred to as 'shit'.

I just can't understand what everyone sees in it. It's bland, dull, vocally weak and with an appalling tune. Perhaps it's because it's trying to be a bit different that people are quick to say that they love it.

It's not even got to the 'shit' stage with me. It's still at the 'fucking awful and perhaps the worst single of her dodgy career' level... :bad:

I'm not a big Britney fan but I think she's the most talented young singer of the mom. I've always praised "Toxic" . I LOVE the strings & the eastern vibe & the vid is GINIUS. I'm delighted she's back with a strong track to pipe down the likes of Xtina, Beyoncé ....& Justin Trousersnake. GO BRITNEY.
