Really interesting development; a verified employee (left within the last few weeks) from the law firm that deals with Britney's conservatorship has spoken with Britney's Gram blog,

According to the former paralegal at the company, it's Jamie who cancelled Domination as Britney has not been taking her medication etc. Andrew Wallet left the conservatorship as he is uneasy with the current situation and is worried about being liable for anything that happens and also being disbarred. Also, she's been in the "wellness center" since January and why she has been MIA.

I mean REALLY!

In all SERIOUSNESS, it's actually fucking weird being a Britney fan now.

It's painfully evident now that she HATES being a popstar - and I don't REALLY count her doing a 2-hour aerobics workout to her own music in Vegas as being part of that.

There was a time when I was able to appreciate the music even where the visuals were lacking (ie. Femme Fatale) but now even if you take the music in isolation, you wonder what she went through to have recorded it - and that just taints it for me now. Britney Jean was probably the moment that exposed the fact that she was just going through the motions and doing the bare minimum, so even when she was talking up Glory, you had to wonder whether she was just doing what she's been trained to do for over half of her life.

I'm not really sure what she is as a musical act anymore. If she's someone who loves singing but doesn't like the promo trail, that's fair enough - there are plenty of acts like that. But if she's someone who has no interest in being "Britney Spears" anymore but doesn't know how to step out of the hamster wheel - or, perhaps, isn't ALLOWED TO, that's really problematic.
