Taylor Swift - folklore [New Album]

Should have just dropped it but I admire the GUMPTION

It's going to be very Caroline Calloway isn't it

The Nelly Furtado fanbase will NOT put up with this!

I was just in the mood for some WHIMS as well

:D

well I find it interesting that she's resting the POP GIRL thing for a minute and going in a different direction. she has the TALENT to make me at least curious about an album that's just her and a guitar. also enjoying her highly prolific work ethic.

@Chlammy

This is all very SERIOUS SINGER-SONGWRITER, and I for one am here for it.

Leave the nursery rhyme lead singles behind and become the Joni Mitchell cosplayer you were BORN TO BE, Taylor.

Already setting myself up for disappointment by listening to 'Soon You'll Get Better' and 'Safe and Sound' :disco:

The first single being called CARDIGAN is almost farcical :D

I'd have preferred (Still) ME! ft. Brendon Urie

let's just hope there's something as deliriously great as Clean :disco:

Surely this is some kind of money making exercise because of her tour postponement and uncertainties with playing live shows in the foreseeable future..

I really do think she's awful. And I've tried. Obviously she has a terrible personality but I like many awful people. But I actually find her music unlistenable. She came up on a random Spotify listen the other week and I said WHAT'S THIS SHIT? And then I saw who it was. It's not like I'm scared on the genres she dabbles in, but I DO NOT GET IT!

I haven't listened to her since 1989.

Ready for her to regress to songs like Ours and White Horse honestly. I'd even settle for I'd Lie.

Antonoff is back, Bon Iver and Aaron Dessner (of The National) are the collaborators - the latter produced 11 of 16 tracks

I was just thinking that. She’s obviously spent the money she was due to earn from all the live gigs she had planned and needed something FAST.

spent it on WHAT? Cashmere cardies, artisanal cat food of mung bean origin and her crippling addiction to self-help books? :disco:

I think I liked her in her Netflix documentary but I can't remember x

And yet all the physical bundles are available until the end of this week only for ordering?! So nothing to do with timing the release with manufacture of the physical products. She's so full of shit!

I mean by all means release all the new material you want but that instagram write-up is ridiculous. Just release your album and get on with it.

For what it's worth 1989 is a great album and Lover has its moments.

I wish I was back in North Wales so I could go listen to this in the BIG TREES. :disco:

Donations to the DNC to destroy Kanye’s campaign.

The album cover reminds me of one of Jewel’s.

I could easily have missed something but she’s always seemed decent as a person to me. She’s used her platform and money to support and speak up for all kinds of minority rights from what I’ve seen.

OMG I only just realised she's releasing it with different covers and calling them 'editions' :manson:

'The meet me behind the mall edition'

Fks sake :D
