Former X Factor contestants speak out against the show

Is it worth the effort SDF babes?

Also "I don't think P!nk ever shopped in H&M" :D:D

I watched it last night. On the whole I'd say it isn't worth the watch. Or at least only do it with your finger on fast forward for the French supply teacher wardrobe.

I watched it and thought it was a really great narrative of what happened - I feel so bad for her as I think it was clearly such a stitch-up. I hope she gets the justice she deserves.

What do you think would be suitable justice?

Im hoping for Tulisa's head on a stick.

Also loving the out of focus kitchen. Particularly the jar of instant coffee.

I'm not doubting the woman's experience of her experience but watching her retelling and watching the audition footage there is A LOT which doesn't marry up.

I'm sure she absolutely was manipulated into her reaction but editing can only do so much.

I think she’s pretty open about saying that having to get up so early and being kept in substandard conditions raised her stress levels to the point that she stormed off.

Oh she was ROYALLY stitched up. What a fucking dreadful machine the X Factor was.

It was more how she is questioning that she dropped the mic down when the footage shows her throwing it out and ’somehow they made it look like that’

Followed by her shaking a rig which she was saying was supporting the lighting system and couldn't have possibly been knocked over when again the footage showed a different situation.

Then saying at no point did she and her father walk back on hand in hand, with footage showing exactly that.

I hear Simon broke his back today. I’m not pointing fingers but if @Suomi could tell us his whereabouts between the early hours of this morning it would certainly help our enquiries :eyes:

.

Oh I totally agree that this was never going to be a balanced ‘response’. She’s never going to give them any concessions so a pinch of salt is required. But there does seem to be a lot of what is likely true that is pretty dreadful behaviour on behalf of whom runs the wheels of the show. Which we all probably could imagine at the time, but hearing it in full I didn’t find very pleasant.

I hope we get a husky-voiced tell-all from QUEEN OF REINVENTION Katie Waissel.

Someone get Caroline ‘the cunt’ Poole on the line

Clearly, X-Factor hired Alecia Beth Moore and Sir Tom Jones at great expense to portray poor Zoe and her dad for that televised segment.

#ibelieveher

Also, in no way related to that frightful eXposé for a scrap of publicity, Zoe Alexander - "Fire" out now:

I thought she was referring to the artistic shot of the microphone on the floor, and the editing which made it look like she stormed off and then came back, as opposed to just going to her Dad who Was at the side of the stage.

I know she’ll be embellishing some facts, but I’ve no reason to disbelieve it as a general account of what happened. Especially cutting in staged clips of Nicole trying to look compassionate as she lacks the necessary functions to be able to do that spontaneously.

Are we supposed to believe that back in 2012 X Factor were making military grade deepfakes and digitally giving her a new arm and a new dad?

(Although with the microphone throw it does look like she’d swang is back to give Tulisa the middle finger...)

They got Eoghan Quigg to the final without him singing a note unaided. There’s no lengths the X Factor wouldn’t go to for their narratives.

Oh she does actually look quite like her :D

I’m surprised it’s taken this long for a fully fledged backlash of X Factor to be honest. I mean they cancelled Jeremy Kyle and that was probably low grade exploitation compared to X Factor

Don’t get me wrong, I watched it too, during the peak years... but I’m amazed by how unbelievably dated it is for a show that only went on hiatus a year ago. It does not seem to fit into today’s world at all

And yet, Got Talent is still massive... how long before that collapses under the weight of its own heavily edited narrative?

The X Factor feels like it was dead a couple of years before it even went on hiatus - it hadn't produced any stars or been vital water cooler conversation in years - so any backlash at this point just feels like prodding the corpse with a stick.

Got talent is as edited as the X Factor but it is far less mean, or it sure seems to be on the face of it?

I feel like the stability of the panel on BGT helps to keep the drama out the show and while it's very much the same show, it feels completely different.

I'm going in for part two of Zoe Alexander's EXPOSÉ. Thankfully only twenty minutes long.

oh, she's put her instant coffee away and got her copper pans and mortar & pestle out :disco:

Kitty's advice: GO ABROAD AND NEVER COME BACK. NOW DELETE THIS EMAIL :D:D:disco:
