'Infinite Disco' livestream ('performance spectacular')

IF KYLIE GETS TO NUMBER ONE WITH DISCO, I DON’T THINK THE QUEEN CAN’T NOT MAKE HER A DAME

We already got Dame Livvy Newton John this year for services to charity, entertainment and cancer research. I'm sure our Kylie is on the same level or more.
Yes, which Tory needs bribing for this to happen

IT’S UNTHINKABLE THAT THE FIRST PERSON TO HAVE A NUMBER ONE ALBUM IN FIVE DIFFERENT DECADES WOULD NOT BE MADE A DAME OR A SIR. IT’S SUCH A HUGE CULTURAL MILESTONE AND THERE’S NO WAY IT COULD BE IGNORED

DONT FUCK8NG JINX IT!!!!

i loved this.

the format. the emotion. the energy.

so much worth discussing! i don't know how those vocals came about exactly but she's using that voice and i love it. very adventurous and confident, i thought.
i loved the re-swizzles. immediately i think of the heavenly in your eyes. shoving light years in there. slow and then love to love you baby! that was glorious. made it her own too.

it felt really fulfilling and i love the emancipation of cgmooh and spinning around but i was a bit minogued she had the nerve. the 50 something minutes wizzed by and i thought we'd be getting more outfits - the in your eyes set up from the promo was wonderful and it's sad we won't see a full version of that. loved the hair in that shoot so fucking much.

ugh. i want to watch it all (apart from the days-of-the-week and the dj songs again. immediately.

surely they must release it in some fashion?

hearing a bit about how she decided to do this album and her 5 songs that inspired it actually made it click a bit more with me. and some very poor visuals aside (how is that cover art possible?), hearing her talk about how much she loves touring really made me want to see her tonight. she was amazing.

she's inspired so much listenage as well. i didn't remember voulez-vous being the best abba video ever.

do you believe in magic? :daf:

honestly, this was mini-eurovision. i'm drained.

all hail, al-kylieda!

i wonder if whoever directed this had seen agnes' performance from earlier this year. the gospel choir totally got me there.

i wish she'd been the blueprint for the new music - i appreciate what kylie's done with the disco sound and much as it's grown on me (especially with this live extravaganza - my friend loved her outfit but i say sack the stylist especially the backing dancers) but it sounds dustier to me whereas agnes' nothing can compare to you is pure disco but brand new. fingers crossed and goodlife as well.

jessie, roisin, even dua lipa. there's really been so much "disco" reimaging this year. so here for it.

my dream:

an abba special where they collaborate with artists inspired by them on covers their songs. ft kylie, goldfrapp, agnes, music go music. who else?

There's a HQ audio rip floating around now...

HLT, I feel guilty for kind of asking but can you link me up? Still absolutely buzzing from watching this and need to have it in my life permanently.

This is totally up there with the best moments in her career. I'm not sure I've EVER seen her look so confident.

The Slow mashup is on YouTube but without the context of the other songs around it, it loses some of the impact.

Oh I loved this ! She looked and sounded fabulous . More people need to do this . culture club are doing one next week. Virtual gigs the way forward

I saw quite a few YouTube clips earlier, but they are all being blocked now.

Is anyone a bit MIFFED over these videos being chucked onto her channel after you paid £16 for them?

The only thing wrong is the unfortunate screencap.

I hope they upload Love To Slow Love You Baby :disco:

Nah. Some of the more joyous 50 minutes of the year and the quicker she releases the whole thing for everyone to see the happier I will be.

Part of the joy (at least on moopy) was the experience of watching it together 'live', I'd have thought.

That may be easier to say as I haven't paid sixteen quid, I'm sure.

why isn't everyone raving about this? such a masterstroke for her artistically even if sales allegedly aren't anywhere they should have been.

i wanna watch it again.
i hope they do a second night of it to much fanfare but that's probably in a dream reality.

Much as I’m grateful for whoever posted it, it works FAR better as one long piece as opposed to broken down into individual clips.

oh yes! it was certainly a holistic audio-visual extravaganza exclamation point.

but at this point even audio is something for users.

I finally watched Infinite Disco.

what an absolute triumph. hard to pick faves because everything was THE TITS but bold move to open with I Love It alone, sans dancers, and it totally worked because she has charisma for days. the laser lighting during Light Years (AMAZING!) and Supernova absolutely POPPED OFF and reminded me of the ravey rendition of Head from the KMO Tour. Light Years is such a top-tier classic, I'm so thrilled she gave us this. Say Something already a classic (are we calling it THE PERF yet?), Last Chance worked brilliantly with the 70s disco aesthetic, the new mix of Slow was divine. I mean it was really a MARVEL on every level.

During Last Chance and Magic there were a couple of lines she let the backing vocalists take care of while she BUSTED A FEW MOVES and it sent me into a proper gay tizzy. I love ChoreoKylie, she's still got it.

it actually made me a bit emotional - I shed a tear during the finale of Magic when she was doing a little victory lap up and down the catwalk, and I am famously cold. at the end all I could think was: she just gets it. she inherently has pop music in her veins and she so fully embodies the spirit of it and what it is to be a popstar. that's my forever queen.

now I will buy the vinyl to ease my guilt about not paying for this.

How can I watch it.
