It’s a bit early for this but the cast has been announced and it’s fabulous

The Corinthian is gonna be the stuff of nightmares.

I don't know what The Sandman is but here for the cast. what do I need to investigate?

I think it’s considered the best comic book series ever. I’ve not read the full thing (it gets really weird) but it seems they’re adapting the first two storylines which are focused on occult and some horror.

I know Gaiman of course but comic books are uncharted territory for me. I am intrigued though. what's with Corinthian? he looks cute, will he eat me?

I don't understand either but I'm in – for the first episode at least!

Tom Sturridge always gets my vote even if Sienna Miller used to have her mitts on him.

have you begun watching, Phee?

I've watched one and a half episode. now I don't know the book(s) but I don't think it's for me after all. I'm not really connecting with it

... or should I shut up and carry on?

I've watched two episodes. Nice to look at but I'm not convinced it is really for me so far.

It has been very well reviewed as far as I have seen. I will plod on.

I’m halfway through, I can’t say I’m loving it but it is a very faithful adaptation of the comic. Each episode is almost an issue.

The problem for me is that the titular sandman is boring so whenever the story shifts from him it works best.

Episode 5 which is a standalone kind of horror episode is fantastic. It focuses on David Thewlis and he’s very creepy. Episode 6 is supposed to be another great one.

Finished this and it grew on me a lot, it is very much two arcs with a standalone episode in the middle. Lots of great performances especially Mason Alexander Park as Desire.

Even Morpheus grew on me by the end as he started to be less glarey and more animated.

It's not bad. Cool CGI, decent as don't, but pretty lame story and some of the writing is quite poor.

Death is my favorite. Lovely to see Gwendolyn Christie too, although wasted on an awful role.

6.5/10

Well… it wasn’t bad but it was quite difficult to enjoy at times. A weird one. Not sure I understood it.

Yeah this kinda leaked last week when Trixie and Katya were doing their rewatch show and they left those scenes in. I was expecting them to be a Christmas special as they’re one off stories.
