Interesting/ annoying things about the UK

That the Tories keep getting voted in (England) no matter what shitshow they produce.
It's been a weird decade for politics. 2015 and 2019 were both Brexit elections. 2017 was an outlier. That said I can't see much changing for a good decade.

We are generally considered cold. Or stoic as people justifying it call it.

That said leaving the south is a REVELATION. Londoners are horrible.
 
I imagine non-Brits find the fact that Britain "owns" a chunk of Ireland rather bewildering. I know I do.

Obviously I broadly understand how it ended up that way historically. But it's still bollocks.
 
The first thing that comes to my mind is BAD WEATHER, but maybe it's us being very lucky.
 
Oh God, attacking our crisps is the line.
Not attacking them at all, I just don't understand why they are a national obsession. True that I rarely eat snacks so I don't appreciate things like that.
