RANDOM THINGS YOU HATE

ADULTS taking pictures of lego men/women or cuddly toys in front of famous sights or at the beach and posting them on social media šŸ˜¤

I have a FB friend who does that with a collection of small plastic toys (all with names) that he shoves into his restaurant dinners for photos. He is about to turn 50.

Oh I have a colleague who does that, too. Warrants the death penalty as far as I'm concerned.

I've never done that but I don't think I'd hate it that much.

It's better than people who take photos of every meal they ever eat. Fine if you're in a fancy restaurant and want to show your friends you paid Ā£80 for the meal, but please not a fry-up in a cafe. I went on a few group trips to Ireland and some of the party were friends of friends, and there was one guy who used to do that "for his blog" which had about 5 followers.

See I don't mind that, it amuses me when I see posts of horrendous looking meals out. Extra points for people commenting things like "looks yum" or "omg so jealous!!1".

I tend to take photos of fancy meals but I rarely post them on social media.

Although it usually means Iā€™m just scrolling through my camera roll when Iā€™m hungry.

I like to take photos of meals Iā€™ve cooked which I think look/taste great but then everyone says their shit :(

INTO the dinner?
Oh yes. Examples:

British Gas making it a PAIN for me to register an account and pay my electricity bill, presumably because the previous tenant decided to NOT tell them he was leaving.

Oh it just keeps getting better, apparently I canā€™t register for an online account because the SYSTEM WONā€™T ALLOW IT.

Youā€™d have thought considering how theyā€™re a bunch of MONEY GRABBING CUNTS theyā€™d be there with their wallets open.

Regarding the toys in food business, insanity doesn't disappear as one gets older. It gets WORSE

AS YOU'LL ALL DISCOVER SOONER OR LATER :tongueout:

I keep hearing nightmare stories of British Gas being extremely unhelpful talking to recent widows trying to sort out their bills because "they need to speak to the account holder".

This could be universal, every time I call our own Electricity provider so that I know how much money to pay for the bill they keep on sending to my grandmother who has been dead for 15 years, they ask to pass her through in order to confirm that they can reveal this PERSONAL information to me. I also cannot change the address they send the bills to because they need her to sign an agreement for that to happen.

I've never done toys in food (and at current stage of insanity have no plans to), but I did take the surgery mascot (a teddy bear called Geraldine) away to Venice and a couple of other places I forget about a decade ago. It stayed in the suitcase bar one photo.

A flowing conversation that gets suddenly derailed by the sheer horror of the other person wanting you to watch a full YouTube clip of the topic on their phone.
People do things like this more and more, and it's always awful :(
