Real Housewives of New York

The behind the scenes dramas are significantly more interesting than the SHOW ITSELF.

Except that most of the rumors are just false. There’s a new one every day.

I don’t really care if the rumours are true or false tbh (as long as Luann doesn’t get fired).

I LIVE for the HIGH DRAMA of it all either way :D (see also: the most recent casting season for OC)

The amount of rumours and stories about New York at the moment is wild! I’d not trust Bethenny as she said while season 6 was airing she’d never join again and she was back for season 7.

They just CAN’T get rid of Sonja.

Eboni has been announced as one of the rotating conservative hosts on The View :eyes:

the Season 7 cast looks iconic :disco:

Oh so now Sonja is a MOVIE PRODUCER :D What title has this woman NOT got?

Wow I DID NOT see Ramona splitting with Mario. They were so happy together. Even though Mario was kinda flirty it always seemed more like a 'dad' thing. What a sleaze! ...Which only makes him hotter to me 😭

I skipped most of the episode. It was cringe, I don’t need Luann narrating how she was massaging her body during sex.

Also definitely no reunion. We’re jumping straight into the clip show.

How was that shake-n'-go basic AF Leah wig supposed to be Ramona?!
She should have gone for the iconic severe ponytail look that Tinsley's mother liked

If anybody wants a FUN READ, some unhinged queen on reddit dug through the NYC Housewives financial records :D The whole thread is a really interesting read

A big takeaway is that Sonja owes 3.5 MILLION on her townhouse mortgage, which she will quite clearly NEVER EVER PAY OFF. Even if she managed to sell it for 3.5 million she'd walk away essentially with nothing. No wonder she keeps listing it for the completely unrealistic 6 million+ :D

But god, what a luxury mess she's found herself in - lest we forget she was given the townhouse MORTGAGE FREE as part of her divorce. How long until the walls finally close in.

Well Luanne is back from her European vacation

"Sorry you didn't get the email invites to my brunch, they accidentally all went to trash" :D So far unhinged Ramona is kicking ass, bless her heart.

Bring back Dorinda, Tinsley and get rid of LEAH. PLEASE.

That's already half the battle won.

And don't count out the COUNTESS.

I am SO CURIOUS for the truth to come out once contracts are eventually sent out for the next season (I'm not expecting it to be for a WHILE!).

I think it's either going to be Lu & Sonja remain, or Eboni & Leah remain, with Ramona fired in all scenarios. I think we are looking at close to a full reboot with casting probably bringing on new women rather than bringing back old cast members tbh.

A lot of the fan speculation seems to think that the network don't want to resurface this season ahead of the All Stars season with Ramona and Lu on, and it's probably just not financially WORTHWHILE unless they broke the fourth wall and properly discussed the issues of the show which I highly doubt they'd do.

I'm not sure if they will bring Dorinda back yet. I think the rumoured All Stars 2 is designed to see if she's ready to be on set with a crew again after she was allegedly fired for being HORRIBLE to EVERYBODY off camera :D

Also HIGHLY doubt they'll bring Bethenny back.
She's hardly been an ENIGMA post-show, and she'd probably cost more than the rest of the cast combined to have on the show.
She also didn't deliver a particularly huge ratings bump the last time she came back, despite making LEGENDARY TV.

It's amazing that despite all the rumours, and it being a REAL HOUSEWIVES show where generally nobody can keep quiet for more than a few minutes - nobody ACTUALLY seems to be able to explain legitimately what has been going on behind the scenes.

I'm assuming the cast are all being tight-lipped as they're all trying to CLING ON to their contract :D

I'm 100% certain that a documentary about the behind the scenes of this season, and how the women have all reacted to the reaction, would have been 10,000% times more interesting and iconic than the actual show itself :D

It’s usually the most simple explanation. It took too long and they had to reschedule it one too many times that they decided it’s not worth it/there won’t be enough interest.
