    Eurovision 2024: Malmö Arena

Finland 2nd in the semi? Estonia through over Greece and Georgia??? I think that party needs some vetting in future.

Ireland 2024: Bambie Thug - Doomsday Blue

I actually genuinely love this, and don't like the comparisons to truly disgusting stuff like Samantha Tina and Conan. Bambie will rise above. 'Multiple songs blended into one' is one of my favourite Eurovision genres, see also Switzerland (and 'Lost & Found' in 2018)

    Israel's participation in Eurovision 2024

Latvia came lower than Israel in the semi at a preview event I went to a couple of weeks ago as well, as did San Marino.

Moopyfestivalen 2024: Heat 5 (Voting CLOSED! Results NOW!)

I had no idea people cared for Controlla that much. I thought the finalists would mirror the actual ones easily. Jay Smith last though, it's what she deserves.

    Eurovision 2024: Malmö Arena

I was thinking about this yesterday and whether they'd be able to rope Hannah in, but watch it be Alesha Dixon instead

Who's afraid of little ol' Thursday?

Yeah, my other half used to be allergic to cats before we took ours in two years ago, and after a short time he stopped having the allergies, or they just return for a day or so every so often at random. Hopefully your body can get used to him Kala, he's so cute. I'd love to have a kitten from...

Most random place you've heard a Eurovision entry?

I'm on holiday in Tunisia and a couple of days ago round the pool they were playing an instrumental of "What's Another Year?" They clearly want in!

So WHO ON EARTH is going to win?

I would be thrilled with Switzerland or Croatia, even the Netherlands I would take (I really enjoy it and feel bad that they didn't get a full hosting experience, even though I'm apprehensive about what this song winning would do for the contest going forward). Basically ANYTHING except another...

Most random place you've heard a Eurovision entry?

This thread is inspired by me walking into Oliver Bonas yesterday, and 'Divine' by Sebastien Tellier was playing  If we extend out to NF entries or Eurovision artists in general, I heard 'Smile' by Benjamin Ingrosso in a Brewers Fayre the other month

    Predict a SHOCK QUALIFIER

Being the only voter for Iceland in the SF1 predictions thread, I need to stand by Hera. I'd love if Latvia could be a shock qualifier as well, mainly just for them to break the NQ streak but I feel like the song itself doesn't deserve to be counted out as much as it is either.

Can we talk about how much Serbia have DROPPED THE FUCKING BALL THIS YEAR?

Serbia want to give Bambie Thug a chance and we should be grateful

    The Underdog: Josh Must Win

I really got into this after finding the first episode a bit cringe. Thankfully the awful ones were out quickly and we were left with a nice group at the end. Shame if it's not done that well, but I don't know how they'd be able to repeat the format anyway? Not convinced by how genuine any of...

    Sweden 2024: Marcus & Martinus - Unforgettable

Love how even the worst Melfest ever has managed to produce BT's favourite entry of the year! They've announced a London show for next March, glad I managed to secure tickets before this hot Blue Peter promo

Eurovision 2024: Semi Final One - Who Will Qualify?

Seems like a fair point, Ukraine were one of only five countries to give nothing to Konstrakta in the televote. Serbia are the most disposable from the first half for me easily, it's just the fact that they've never come lower than 11th in a semi-final that has me reluctant to predict them out...

    Mother's Instinct

This was a wild ride. The last movie that I saw prior to this was "Anatomy of a Fall" a couple of weeks earlier, and I loved that this was the second movie I was watching in a row that was about the aftermath of someone falling to their death from a height.
