  • It is him, yes. Young Chrissie Cunningham. There's a wonderful moment when himself and Candace are dancing together at the scummy Cunningham family disco and he is about a foot shorter and resembles her little brother. I think this is just after the Cunningham mother has gone ARSE OVER TIT on her new high heels. :disco:
Did you know that episode three of "The Scheme" is up on YouTube? Unfortunately, there's no Marvin and DAAAAAYNA but we do have Kay's daughter pregnant by the Cunningham son who looks about fourteen (but is actually twenty). EXCITING STUFF.

Ha! Amazing poster double-definition. And you're welcome, of course! HOPE U WIN :disco:
I didn't know that about Empire, thank you! I haven't bought it in about a year.
Oh wow! It's shipped already! How exciting... I want a track by track review when you've had a listen - ridiculous hyperbole and scathing criticism welcomed in equal measure.
Oh thanks darl! Yes it's out physically too. Should be in all HMV stores and online at all the usual places. The album shoot was amazing, I got to play shop girl all say dressing the mannequins! :disco:
Yes, we must! Perhaps a more suitable night than a Monday next time! When are you coming down to London anyway?
I don't actually read comics that regularly unfortunately, it's more like I read the odd issue here and there (and summaries on Wikipedia for the absolutely ludicrous stuff I MUST know about :shy:)

I have a few mates who might know decent sites though, I'll ask them!

that video makes me be sick in my mouth

you should enter peter kay's "is this the way to amarillo"
I don't think we ARE ever going to get the final two episodes. One guy keeps trying to post the third episode on YouTube but it keeps getting taken down. Just isn't going to happen...

My ENDURING MEMORY of Kay is when her police defence when her lodger gets in trouble. "I was IN BED watching FATAL ATTACTION."
I didn't realise you were a DAYNA fan. She's my favourite recovering smackhead from Kilmarnock. Are you a fan of Kay and her unofficial B&B for waifs and strays, too?

WHEN I GET THIS TAG AFF AM GONNAE SHOW EVERY SINGLE ONE AY THUM AM NO A DAFTY
Some one sensible, British, wholesome, and a good role model.

I suggest Beth Tweddle, Baroness Amos, HM King George III or James Clerk Maxwell.
I can't take you seriously with a freaky looking blond monsterous singer for an avatar.

    Hello Monsta

Are you actually interested in attending my SMASH HIT, ANYONE WHO'S ANYONE WILL BE THERE Birmingham Moopmeet?

If so, how does the weekend of Friday 3rd- Sunday 5th September sit with you?

No commitment (yet). I'm just trying to get an idea of potential attendees and ideal dates.
It always seems to be fat lesbians with daddy issues. The amount of times I've been stuck behind the karaoke queue while some GOMPER with a crew-cut gives a tearful rendition of Family Portrait...

I will miss it in a way, it has a certain ropey provincial charm. If you find yourself perusing the loony bins between now and August/August 2011 if I do lose my nerve and take this job, do let me know. :disco:

Last time I was in Bridge they played Life Is A Flower by Ace Of Base as the closing song. I almost DIED.
    Where do you actually live?

Birdcage is fucking dreadful, hen night horror.

I don't "do" the scene all that often but if you're used to PROVINCIAL QUEENS then you can have fun if you concentrate really hard. A Bridge/New Penny combo is usually my choice. Queens Court is strictly for anorexic teen queens and the desperate older men who hope to pull them. Viaduct is an occasional laugh but generally vile thanks to the terrifying 25 stone tranny DJ who just talks over all the songs and abuses everyone on the (wardrobe-sized) dancefloor. It has recently attempted to up its game by recruiting hilariously ropey pop tribute acts though. So far we've had Europe's #1 P!nk tribute act (a.k.a A fat dyke), Lady GaGa (Fat dyke with a camel toe and big hair) and Madonna (scrawny old bit of rope with a cone bra. Possibly the real thing incognito).
I didn't realise you were so au fait with the Yorkshire gay scene. If you catch the DJ in Bridge in a good mood he will even play some Louise. Sends the pushing-30 gays into a FRENZY I can tell you.
