If I remember correctly, the mixes on the single weren't too bad either. In some ways I think I'm satisfied not to know what is actually happening with the lyrics - back then I wasn't too far out of French GCSE and possibly had a better idea. Better use of ellipsis than '... Baby One More...

I love how the first three seconds of this song alone completely and unwaveringly ANNOUNCE what it is you're about to listen to. They are three not particularly exciting seconds of music in and of themselves, but as a declaration of forthcoming pop perfection, it must be amongst an elite club...

I doubt this is strictly a pop song, but it is definitely hilariously shit. Totally reminds me of being at my mate's house and doing bad things on a school-night with really appalling drug dealers. Anyway, here we go... Pop videos are supposed to be aspirational, to at least some extent...

They (the teeth) look FINE. They don't drastically alter her appearance at all. My only criticism would be that they serve to make her look a little more generically pretty, but that'll only go in her favour with the majority.
