I'd like confirmation and evidence when the SHIT SUN is destroyed and buried.

A word on AJ whose presentation of the UK votes I loved - how to show some British character and charm without coming off like a complete prat.
Amanda Holden really does just feel so grimly perfect as a way of summing up exactly why we did badly last year and for so many years. Half-arsing it with some 6/10 technically professional load of nonce that was convinced it was fabulous and deserved top ten and showed a lot of disdain for the continent without even necessarily realising it.

Italy also saw a massive ratings boost.

France dropped more than 2 million though. They truly didn’t give a fuck this year.

How does ESC viewing compare to Melodifestival in Sweden?

I haven’t seen the Swedish figures for Saturday yet, but I do know that the Melfest final routinely outperforms Eurovision, and comfortably so.

Oh yeah, she was great. I love that she managed to get a crowd pop for Greater Manchester despite very few people in the audience having a clue why it was significant.

We could do with her being involved in our broadcast team.

Apparently this is a Russian fan club’s reaction to the Ukraine score. They watched on a VPN. Quite sad that a bunch of what seem to be young kids have drunk the kool aid this much…

I do feel slight vindication in the fact Sister turned out to be their HIGH-POINT since their dalliance with the top ten.
I think public voting is the error. They always seem a bit too keen to choose something which presents them as meek and inoffensive when we all know they’re round each other’s bungalows every other night watching dog porn and whatnot and doing unmentionables with family members

The only solution is to convince the entire world that they haven’t heard the Eskimo Callboy song and then to send that next year.

I agree. We need German Hatari but with feaces.

Or a middle aged schlager lovely.

Don't mind either way.
:disco: The likes of Hatari did come to mind as something which Germany is surely capable of whipping up. Schlager would be fun even if only Austria and Switzerland vote for it. There’d be more points than usual :disco:

Definitely something AUF DEUTSCH in either case please

Would I rather hear Ronela covering Atemlos or Helene Fischer covering Sekret?

Talk about a SOPHIE’S CHOICE

They've rebranded as Electric Callboy now (Eskimo was considered offensive, but a slang term for a male prostitute is a-ok)

They released a song a few weeks back which I wish they'd entered last minute for a Space Man vs Spaceman narrative.
