Olivia Newton-John DEAD

Grease was an absolute STAPLE for me growing up. I think I could still recite the whole movie. She was an absolute ICON.

It's very much one of my earliest musical memories. My mum (I'm pretty sure most people's mums) owned the vinyl and listening to it on our MUSIC CENTRE was very much a bonding experience for me, my mum and cousin Jayne who lived a few doors up the road.

Very impromptu top 3 ONJ, because I not listened her GH for years.

Xanadu
Magic
Physical

She fought so very hard, multiple times. What a brave woman.

A flawless pop voice.

Spin Xanadu, spin Physical, even spin LONG LIVE LOVE :disco:

I'm crying. She was my first pop icon. I was six years old when I fell head over heels in love with her and her songs (thanks to my parents). She's been part of my life ever since. I know that looks ridiculous written down like that, but I don't know what else to say.

I saw Grease a few weeks ago. Aged terribly, but the songs are BANGERS.

Not ridiculous in the slightest. It's a massively significant relationship.

01 Landslide
02 Xanadu
03 If Not For You
04 Hopelessly Devoted To You
05 Twist Of Fate

That's a very quick singles. I'm not as familiar with albums (although Mr L has them all) largely due to there being such holes in her catalogue on Spotify.

Her cover of Banks Of The Ohio was really the definitive one for me
