Personally I find it quite depressing driving past massive factories pumping all kinds of gases into the skyline, but no - apparently it’s wine turbines and solar panels that are offensive to the eye. :DAF:

What IS the problem with turbines? Just they take up the skyline?

Someone said they make noise (less than a factory I assume) but they’re not usually next to peoples houses are they?

Or are people pretending they actually give a shit about a few sparrows getting chopped? Or do they just think people are talking about turbans?

I love wind turbines, they're mesmerising.
More wokeism

Seriously, though, this is all just being taken from a song-sheet of gripes which wind-up ageing members of the Conservative party. Truss is backing herself into such a corner with the country at large.

yeah they're gorgeous. but Elizabeth Truss considers non-English cheese to be outrageous, so.

Let’s fill the fields with these instead!!!

‘AR LIZ just LOVES a bit of global warming for that all important summer tan :disco:

The answer is D - people are just really fucking stupid.

What the actual fuck?!

I think I can relate to what she says. But only a few little farmers here were lured to destroy their olive groves and vineyards for that. The investment cost was big and the easy labourless profit wasn't what the solar panel sellers promised.

I popped in to the Jobcentre earlier for a meeting and I was delighted by the level of absolute hatred they have for Truss. She was variously described as clueless, evil, and a 'stupid fucking bitch' :disco:

People are leaving the civil service because of her; someone who's been with the Jobcentre for years QUIT without another job lined up rather than face working for her. I can well imagine there being some form of strike action if she gets the job.

She is definitely going to be hated by the left. Unfortunately she is going to be loved by the right. Because she says what they want to hear, whether or not it’s wrong, problematic, offensive or dangerous.

This holiday break is stretching the campaign period for so long that both candidates have already outed themselves as MORONS even to the general public on so many occasions.

And they still have THREE MORE WEEKS to embarrass themselves even further to the point that when they become PMs their reputation will be in the fucking doldrums.

Truss now THIRTY-TWO points ahead of Sunak :D

Obviously that leak of her bitching about the feckless, workshy poor hit its intended market :zombie:

I hope Sunak just fucks off. He's absolutely shat the bed and he might as well go and live the billionaire life in the US, given the efforts made to retain domicile there. Absolute arsehole, hope he gets shot.

I like how the source quote defending him on this just makes him sound like a shit dad -

A source from Sunak’s campaign said he had eaten the wraps with his children when they were on the menu: “I think given he’s barely seen his kids in the last two-and-a-half years, it’s likely he hasn’t been to McDonald’s in that time.”

:D

While I hate both of the candidates (more like candiDONTS!!!!!!), I don’t think it’s really gaining much to “gotcha” them on unimportant stuff like this (especially when the explanation is perfectly plausible)

Save it for something more important than a McDonalds wrap, otherwise the opposition just look like twats

Mind you, they got rid of Miliband because he ate a bacon sandwich in a way that couldn’t be photographed perfectly throughout so :eyes:

It's not that he's been busy, he's just moved them to another wing of the mansion.
