RPDR S16 E01 'Rate-a-Queen'

Quite an enjoyable cast so far. I don’t hate anyone on sight which is unusual too.

Charlize Theron as guest judge was just 😍

So far down the line it’s so hard not to judge the new queens against previous, but I swear my mind automatically picked out this seasons Anetra, Willow Pill and Crystal Methyd.

The winning queens final runway look was garbage. So much gap around the ibutt. I was howling at the last 10 seconds of the lip sync though.

Good opener. Excited for the rest of the season.
 
Not sure I like this new voting format, I hope it’s only for the first two episodes. Also not a fan of the immunity thing, especially as it seems you could use it whenever.

Also really tired of having them bringing in inexperienced busted queens just so the others can tear them apart and bully them. I don’t like watching that at all.

The top two performances were the only ones that felt like something we hadn’t watched before and deserved to win. The queen who won (who’s name I’ve already forgotten) is my favourite so far.

A good bunch of queens and an enjoyable episode over all.
The photoshoot was shit, don’t build up a twist if it’s going to to end up being that Konnie person.
Q’s talent perf had me in tears. And I was mostly surprised by Mirage :disco:
 
Q seems like she has a few ticks up her sleeves but she really should hope she never needs to lipsync for her life. That lipsync was LIFELESS and Sapphira ate her up!
 
Ru's wording about immunity was interestingly vague. Immunity from a challenge rather than the next challenge - it implies that queens might be able to save it for a week in which they know they aren't going to be so strong?

I thought this too but perhaps a technicality as the next episode has a different set of queens.

Not being able to cast onto my Samsung TV is such a pain, but I'm finally going to watch this on my laptop. Now let the music play!
